Have you any estimate on how many people starved to death, died of neglect, or were lost to crime because of this lack of "socialism"? A welfare state is not socialism. Educate yourself. assassination. In the Army in Japan working for the NSA with a Top Secret Security clearance

After school programs could be afforded to expand, and they could even have a PRAYER meeting as well. I could go on...but factually it sounds like the best plan ever to apply in this day and age. You say you are tired of this. What is it you are tired of? Is it democracy? Is it laws? Is it our leaders trying to protect our Country? If you are so sold on Socialism, how about listing some success stories? Which countries would you like to pattern our Country after? Conservatives are not against social programs that are needed and can best be administered by the Federal Government. The problem is the Federal Government is out of control. Liberals couch everything in terms of conservatives being against poor people if they don't agree with any program that liberals deem to help poor people, even if they are flawed. You never will admit that any of these social welfare programs are not good. According to the left, any social ill can be solved by throwing money at the problem. A typical Alinski tactic is to accuse the right of doing exactly what the left does and then deny, deny and deny some more. Do you think all of the wealthiest people are Republicans? If so, you're completely nuts. The 20 trillions that we are in debt is not due to tax breaks for the wealthy. It would be fine to debate some of these issues but debating with liberals is out of the question.

Since 1960, the 29 Congresses have held Democrat majorities 20 times to 9 Republican majorities in the House and 20 to 10 in the Senate.
