That miniwar was started by the Muslims in the Gaza Strip, and the Israelis were acting in self defense, trying to stop the infiltarions from tunnels that were helping the Muslims kill Jews in Israel, and stopping all the rocket fire that was coming from the Gaza Strip without cause by the Muslims. Why were so many civilians killed, if they really were civilians? Because the Muslims used them as shields, and they stored all their rockets and other military equipment among the Mosques, schools, and hospitals, from where they were also using and firing them. If Muslims just stay in the Gaza Strip, where the Israelis removed by force all Jews who had built settlements there, at the demands of the Muslims living in the Gaza Strip, then there would be no wars and the accidental killing of innocents by the Israelis, if the Muslims would stop killing innocent Jewish women and children through indiscriminate rocket fire from the Gaza Strip into Israel, and stop the killing of innocent civilians through raids into Israel from the Muslims using tunnels to illegally enter Israel. The only time the Israelis ever attacked the Gaza Strip were only after they were responding from many attacks by Muslims living in the Gaza Strip.
