Alternatives to Windows OS?

I don't know about anyone else, but I am just getting sick and tired of Windows. I know there are several alternative operating systems out there. But which one, if any, is better than Windows? Has anyone used any of them? Does anyone at least know someone who has? I've read about them. All the reviews, and everything. I'm looking for the opinion of someone who actually uses them on a daily basis.

After several years of my wife asking for a MAC, I gave in since we were having to reboot several times a day.
My only regret was not listening sooner. Please understand that we purchased our MAC when Steve Jobs was still alive.
I have never had to reboot my computer until early January of 2017. Not bad for a computer from 2010.

Thanks. I've also owned a Mac. Never had a problem with it. But I was asking for something that would run on a PC. Can't play my games on a Mac.

I'm using Linux Mint. Love it, no rebooting forced updates etc. It's a good os they are linux forums on the internet and the people there are more than glad to help you with any problems or questions you have. Iv'e had windows os since day one changed 2 yrs ago will never go back.
