Temptations of Christ

Satan knows Jesus is the son of God but tried to sway Him anyway. If he tried the son of God, then he deceives the whole world easily. The only thing Jesus used to combat satan was the word of God. If it is all Jesus used it is all we need. Satan came to Jesus at least twice. The first time is in Luke, 4th chapter where satan leaves for a season, which implies that he returns later. The 2nd time is in Matthew, 4th chapter, where satan leaves for good. Each time satan makes the same three requests, but the last two are reversed in order. We will cover Matthew. In the first trial, satan asks Jesus to turn stones into bread. Another way of saying this is, “since you are the son of God, don’t endure hunger. Use your supernatural power to satisfy your flesh”. Of course Jesus refuses. He answer is found in Deuteronomy 8:3.
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from God’s mouth.
What is Jesus saying? There is more to life than pleasing your flesh: You have to make good decisions. This is tricky because good decisions come from experience but experience from bad decisions. You may make bad decisions but God will never leave or forsake you. Failing to get Christ to satisfy His flesh, he now request that Jesus proves He is who He knows He is.. He asks Christ to jump off a building, twisting the meaning of the 91st Psalm, 11th verse, and omitting in all thy ways. Supposing that God will be with you no matter what action you choose to pursue. He tries to convince Christ that since He is God’s son, if He jumps off a building, angels will catch Him. For no reason, He should attempt suicide because God will protect Him, This is an insane request, but Jesus answers from Deuteronomy 6:16.
You shall not tempt God.
Failing at this, satan does not get discouraged but goes for broke. He asks Christ to violate Exodus 20:3.
Thou shalt have no other gods before me,
He asks Jesus to worship him in exchange for this planet. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. God already owns the planet. Minds deceived by satan cheapen their own lives. Jesus dismisses satan for the last time.. Satan wants to be worshipped as God, but God will have nothing to do with you if you worship satan.

Yes he's being held by the ArchAngel Micheal, where he will be loosened for a short time, that's why there is a silence in heaven because the accuser of the brethren is physically on earth. Then Christ will put him in the pit for a thousand years.
