In that show, the good guys were "control" and the bad guys were "chaos". Well, in the first 100 days of the Trump administration, we have plenty of chaos, but no control. We had Mattis saying one thing one week. then saying something else a week later. Then, after Trumps and Mattis comments about NATO, we have Pence rushing to reassure NATO that we WILL be faithful to our commitments. So, will we or won't we? Trumps says "maybe not", DoD says "maybe not", but the VP says "we will" and tries to convince NATO members that Trump didn't mean what he said. I thought Trump said what he meant and meant what he said? Maybe not, at least, that's the stance the VP and the GOP intend to take.

Pence is doing the Presidents job, while Trump plays with crowds, then plays golf on another luxury weekend getaway from the pressures of the um, whatever he calls the Whitehouse in DC. This is the 3rd such getaway in the 1st month. With few exceptions, the GOP is just fine with this lunacy. Trump spends more time trying to prove he did some stuff, than he did doing some stuff - now, he's campaigning again. We have wall street running the economy - after Trump raked Clinton over the coals for her close ties to - wall street. We have political hacks running other departments. An Attorney to run the EPA? What does he know about science? What does he care? These are NOT political entities, nor SHOULD they be. Let the science do the talking - and the politicians listen for a change. That's how you get control of the chaos.

Trump makes his staff sign loyalty oaths? WTF!! What kind of crap is this? That's the bullshit dictators do. Chaos is Trumps MO, between his staff ( the few he has ), the media, the Congress, the American people and the rest of the world. When are we going to get tired of Trump throwing grenades everywhere, having fun - and expecting everyone else to pick up the pieces and keep the whole world from blowing up? Now, we even have Ran Paul becoming a Trumpite, defending his lunacy as though it is some policy miracle. I guess everything he has said before was a lie - or - he's lying now. Who the hell knows? More chaos in the GOP.

The GOP gleefully let's Trump play President while they pursue their agenda, the chaos works for them, distracting from what they're doing. The good news is; sooner or later, what they do will be known, which is already happening. Why would GOP Congress members be hiding from their constituents? Why avoid town halls? The chaos within the GOP will not solve itself, and Trump sure won't help them. All the dems need to do, is sit back and watch the GOP shake itself to pieces. That would be bad for the country, not because I think the GOP is God's gift to America ( it isn't ), but because it will not force the democrats to get THIER heads out of their asses.

We may as well get used to chaos - because there's no sign of any control in our future.

" Hiding from their constituents? " How about we state what is really going on? You know, not the misdirection your side is so good at ! ! ! There is no need to have town meetings yet. We just had an election. The Senators and mostly Congressmen and Congresswomen were just in front of their ' voters '. They have not had very much time as of yet to do anything. Right now the 'Brown shirts' of the Democratic Party have their disrupters ready to go and scream at any town hall meetings to make it seem as if the public in mass is royally pissed at Republicans.

How is that for a good condensing of reality?

In that show, the good guys were "control&quo... (show quote)

I'm in control of my OWN future.

If you ever " Get Smart ", you will then learn that no matter who the president happens to be, you have the good fortune to live in a country that allows ANY man to control the path of his own destiny.

How do you think Mr. Trump became the leader of the free world ?

It's because he took control of his freedom to master his own dreams.

He dreamed of becoming president, and he made it happen.

There's no " Chaos ".

The world continues to turn, commerce continues to thrive, the mail continues to be delivered and jerks like you continue to whine and complain and create much ado about nothing.

Quit being jealous of the man.

He's a billionaire, he's married to one of the worlds most beautiful women, he has beautiful, intelligent, productive children and he has accomplished the very pinnacle of the American dream.

Get off of your lazy duff and go out and build your OWN empire.

Then run for president, win, and then YOU can be in control of Americas future.

Otherwise, shut your whining mouth, get out of the way, and let those of us who CONTROL our OWN destinies, get on with making this country great again.....................................PUNK !!!

Hey lpnmajor...Sweet Lou here. Not coming at you in an adversarial way but he seems to be keeping to the promises he made...repeal/replace President Obama's Healthcare Plan, start constructing the wall on our southern
border and same with the Senate's existing legislation for the Keystone Pipeline...and others etc. etc. Agree or disagree he is doing what he said he'd do. Sounds like your not in support of the President. I am life-long Democrat but waiting to see how he and his administration and our Congress perform. One idea that is definitely cross party lines that he endorses is the deduction of taxes for childcare/eldercare. Am not sure how far along
all that is but sounds positive in its concept.

"Control" was the lying media and the Obama administration. It resulted in a chaos.

Yes, more death and more disorganization. The Democrats like confusion, which, is chaos......So, they can "Control"..
They make the chaos......Then they say they have answer.....More control.

You liberals buy into minor things as major......The big picture has many more facets than simply lighting up the White House in Rainbow colors.......But, you all think that is "Ground Breaking"!

A totally useless comment from you.

"Hope and change".....Remember that? Yeah.....And what did we get?

We hoped things would change..All we had left after 8 years of Obama was the change in our pockets.

Oh yes....Certain people got very wealthy.....Obama did, Clinton's....Those connected......

But, in the end, with more people on welfare, home ownership down, real unemployment much higher than stated and the lack of labor participation at levels not seen since the Carter years......Change is needed.

Chaos!

Obama had his chance......He failed.

I had hopes for him....But he proved he was a failure......He had help,though....It was the Democrat party.

The Democrats have shown they are the party of destruction. Forget the "progressive" line. They progress from one disaster to another. Never fixing anything, they just take from the people....

Oh yes, you will see some chaos with Trump.......

Better than the slow demise of a modern Democrat " Leadership".....

Folks, ipn is simply carrying out the left's typical MO when they don't get what they want. Trump has been President for 1 month and has done more than Obama did in 8 yrs. Good stuff that is. When the left sees one little ruffle in the process, they jump on it and we have disinformation out the wazoo. They don't have anything else. If Trump would defeat ISIS, they would find a reason that he didn't do it right or that he didn't have enough diversity or that he hired a bigot to do it or some stupid reason. Remember, the Dems have to work with what they have and they will invent something if they don't have anything. Pundits who know the party have said we should not expect the onslaught to stop and they are right. It will be continuing. In the process, the left is driving reasonable people to the other side. If you are waiting for the Dems to fall in line and say, "Well, we were wrong. Trump is really getting things done that our Country needs", well, forget it. It's not going to happen. Maybe a few here and there, but the media, Hollywood, academia, the millennial? Forget it. Don't get frustrated. It's the way it is. Just be thankful that we don't have Hillary or Obama and that we have hundreds of State and Federal seats in Congresses and Governorships that we didn't have before. Now if the RINO's would just see the forest and quit looking at the trees and get busy with taking care of business, we might be able to get some real progress. Don't forget prayer. If we think God hasn't had a hand in this reversal, then we are no better than the libs. It's been a real mess for years but we're coming out of it. It isn't going to happen overnight. Trump has the media talking to themselves. Love it, folks. Don't disparage!!

I'm sure many of you out there have started a business, have one or still run one. You evaluate at 90 days, at 6 month and so on. Anyway I did. Our new President hasn't even been in office 1 month yet. He can't get all his cabinet approved. Delay..delay..delay. WTH...Dems don't give a shit about this country OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. And neither does that Fricken Mcain. You do not...I repeat..you don't not go to another country and put down the President of the United States. If that is not a panty waste traitor, I don't know what is. War hero my ass....he sang like a baby when he was captured. Pathetic. Let's not forget the fake news Mr Trump is up against. It's so blatantly biased and untruthful it's a joke. I watched President Trump's speech in Florida yesterday. I was impressed, but what equally impressed me was the gentleman he called onto the stage. I'm not sure about you, but I don't remember any other President doing that. He is for the people and of the people. He's flawed, and far from perfect like we all are. He's not our Messiah, but our opportunity and yes....he's given a voice that we've desperately needed for years. It's his turn, give him a chance, and let's see what happens. Get on the Trump Train and let's ride it to better things and a better way of life. That's my rant for the day.
PS....AND LEAVE HIS FAMILY ALONE!! Only SNARKS pick on woman and children!!!

The left is just doing what they do best.....Make confusing issues. Trump is having to wade through the weeds for a time now.
The Democrats will never stop their quest for power, and control.
And, the RINO'S are running scared as well as the Democrats.
All in all, what seems like chaos is what is needed after Obama.
Just listen to the left.........The statements are telling. It's as if they are like Rumpelstiltskin.......They have lost their history.
So they have to make it up.

Like Trump or not, this is what the country needs now.

It's not pretty.......But, certainly prettier than Hillary Clinton...

Trump has had his more than fair share of intended delays in appointing his cabinet but like the workaholic he is known for he still puts ACTION to his words and pledges...Nor will he be stopped and which has many afraid!! TRUMP tells it like it is whether you like it or not.. He has kicked PCBS to the corner as well!!
He's given full authority back to border patrol on seige and hold and moving with haste to hire 5k more to get better control...

He's hit sanctuary cities withholding federal funds ...And as that sinks in 4 have now declared they are no longer..

He's harnessed the EPA scare tactics used to further the supposed climate change, which is real by the way we see Temps rise and fall as they have done since our beautiful world came to be..
He's told them no funding, had them remove their fear tactics from the Web pages just as he removed it from the WhiteHouse page and put all Federal depts until gag orders until evaluations have been done on them..

He's made direct inroads with our allies trying to reassure and redefine honor and commitments while bringing ones into the thought process of bettering all nations...

He's also done these things..
So whine on, your words mean nothing to his ACTION no matter how much you don't like what he's doing or you twist it..

The Anomaly of President Trump keeps us all guessing... His best lethal defense with our enemies inside and outside our country!!!!!

Donald Trump’s Top 10 Accomplishments in His First Month in Office
Despite all the hysteria you’re seeing from the Left, the mainstream media and from some Republicans who still at this late date can’t get over the fact that he won the primaries, Trump has actually had a dynamite first month in office. Trump may not fare so well if you judge him on his tweeting habits or his willingness to play nice with the media, but the agenda he’s pursued has been a conservative dream.

While I’m sure you’ve heard plenty of stories based on anonymous leaks and wild speculation, how many people have taken stock of what Trump’s actually been doing? Not what he’s tweeting, not what he might do some day, but what he’s actually done. There may be a lot more that needs doing, but if you’re a conservative, the proper reaction to his agenda is “so far, so good.”

10) Freezing all Federal Hiring Outside of the Military: Trump followed in Ronald Reagan’s footsteps by putting a federal hiring freeze in place almost immediately after he became president. That’s big, because the first step to shrinking government is to stop adding more people to it.

9) Pulling Support for the Obama Drive to Force Women to Allow Men in Their Bathrooms: This was a bit surprising, because Trump has generally been supportive of allowing transgender women to use women’s bathrooms, but he also said he believes the issue should be left to the states. Towards that end, he ordered the DOJ to “withdraw a motion filed by former President Barack Obama seeking to allow transgender students in public schools to use the restroom with which they identify.” That will probably lead to the issue being left to the states, which is how it should be.

8) Reinstating The Mexico City Policy: Barring U.S. government funding to international non-governmental agencies that promote or perform abortions is a big deal for pro-lifers. Because of Trump, your tax dollars are no longer going to be used to murder children overseas.

7) Ordered Federal Agencies To Cut Two Regulations For Every New One They Propose: Not only will this lead to fewer regulations, Trump has also decreed that the net cost of any new regulation that is added after cutting the old regulations should be zero. In other words, the regulatory burden on the American people can only go in one direction: down. If you want to help the economy, one of the best ways to do it is to stop strangling American businesses with red tape. Trump understands that.

6) Putting Out An Executive Order Asking The DOJ And Homeland Security to Withhold “Federal Funds, Except As Mandated By Law” From Sanctuary Cities: Trump talked a lot about sanctuary cities on the campaign trail and it’s great to see him taking action against these lawless cities. The fewer sanctuary cities we have, the fewer Americans like Kate Steinle will be raped, robbed or murdered as a result. There is no such thing as the “rule of law” when a protected class of foreign trespassers don’t live under the same laws as the rest of us.

5) Approving The Dakota Access Pipeline And The Keystone Pipeline: Not only will both those pipelines produce jobs without harming the environment, over the long haul they’ll help reduce gas prices. Liberals may not care about Americans spending less on gas, but it’s great that Trump does.

4) Killing The Trans-Pacific Partnership Trade Deal: As Jeff Sessions has noted, the TPP was a bad agreement that dangerously eroded America sovereignty,

"The TPP is about a goal of creating a new global regulatory structure, what I have called a Pacific union, transferring power from individual Americans and power from Congress once more. Eroding Congress to an unaccountable, unelected international bureaucratic committee. In other words, we are empowering the Trans-Pacific Partnership countries to create really a new Congress of sorts, a group with delegates that goes and meets and decides important issues that can impact everyday life of Americans. So the American representative in this commission, which will operate in many ways like the UN, will not be answerable to voters anywhere."

For liberals, transferring American sovereignty to an unelected international group is a feature. It’s great that Trump sees it as a bug.

3) Undermining Obamacare: While there’s still lots of talk about how the GOP should repeal and replace Obamacare, Trump has already stuck a shiv in the heart of the program by ordering the government to “exercise all authority and discretion available to them” to delay the law and grant exemptions. There are still legal questions to be answered about the long term impact of this executive order, but as a practical matter, it appears to have already done away with the IRS enforcing a penalty on people who don’t have healthcare. Technically, the law is still on the books, but if you no longer have to report to the IRS whether you have health insurance or not, that makes it nearly impossible for it to be enforced. Obamacare is already in a death spiral and this executive order will speed things along.

2) Ordering The Construction Of The Border Wall: If you had to pick a central promise of Trump’s campaign, it was building a border wall. He’s already ordered construction to begin and as an extra added bonus, he signed an executive order increasing the number of border patrol agents and staffers for deportations. Of course ultimately, Trump will be judged on getting the wall finished, but you have to start somewhere and it’s good to see him taking that big first step right out of the gate.

1) Selecting Neil Gorsuch For The Supreme Court: Gorsuch is an eminently qualified 49 year old originalist and if conservatives were fantasy league picking their top five selections for the court, he’d be on it. Trump did his job; now it’s up to Mitch McConnell to get Gorsuch confirmed via hook, crook or nuclear option.

Great post SweetLou. If all Democrats or those on the other side of the isle were as open minded and willing to give our new president a chance, there might actually be a chance for some bi-partisan solutions to the problems our nation faces.

It is so unfortunate that people like lpnmajor are so hyper-partisan, that if Trump was instrumental in providing a cure for cancer, lpnmajor would ranting and raving that Trump was putting the pharmaceutical industry out of business.
