One of our greatest generals. He was fired by Obama because he saw what Obama was doing and tried to be that one voice in the wilderness. The fact that Obama fired him seems to me a good reason to trust him. Maybe, just maybe, the "lie" wasn't a real lie.
We need to know more about the entire situation before condemning a brave and brilliant soldier. I would like to hear his side.

Is that why Putin trusted him in a senior position in Russian TV? During the cold war, Soviet agents often found it easy to turn disgruntled Americans into traitors. BTW, the National Security advisor is a vital position, so how could you trust someone who has a faulty memory, who can't remember details of a conversation with a high level officer in a hostile foreign government, a bare month an a half later?

I know you'd love to blame Obama for everything, just like Trump tried to blame Obama for his stupid immigration EO ( the premise was sound, the execution ridiculous ), but come on - of it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck.............................

The whole thing sure sounds like a tempest in a teapot to me. The real object is to attack Pres. Trump.

So right. I can never believe that a General of Flynn's quality, intelligence and love of country could be turned. As we all know so well the media can twist anything. Who can say the Russans don't do the same thing.

The Russians do in fact do their very best to damage us on the world stage. About that there is no doubt.

So, why did he lie, then change his story?

I just sent an email to Mr. Trump and the VP, stating much of what you just said and telling them they need to stand by General Flynn because the leftists will try and pick at any scab they find on any member of Trump's administration if they don't tell the left and the press to shove it! My God, when they pick on Trump's 10 year old grandson you know these flaky maggot bastards are the worst of all despicable humanity.

The truth is you don't actually know anything more than the rest of except you get your propaganda from the Pravda Press and Mad Cow Maddow. Trump has been in office only 25 days and the rhetoric being generated by jerks like Schumer, Sanders, Warren, Pelosi, and other ass holes like you, is going to cause blood to flow - I'm hoping you get out there in the streets.

The GOP wants him gone before the other shoe drops.

Throw both shoes in the face of every Marxist in the congress. Then pick them up and shove them up every RINOs rusty red rectum. Then serve them to you for supper.

First: As I understand it, the question is, did the general mention sanctions while talking to the Russian Ambassador? Perhaps what was mentioned was so trivial that the general merely forgot, due to the insignificant of what was said.
Second: The press, in its zeal to tarnish Trump's administration, is blowing this way out of proportion. And Third: If Obama dismissed General Flynn, that's all the more reason for President Trump to keep the General on.
On another note: I don't understand why some aren't satisfied unless we're poking a finger in the eye of Putin. The press can't howl enough about this or that person's connections to Russia. Seems to me, the press conveniently lost its voice when Obama was caught on an open mike indicating that Putin should be patient, that he (Obama) would be in a better position to do his (Pution's) bidding after he was re-elected. And besides, I've often wondered what made Obama so sure he would be re-elected? Perhaps there's voter fraud after all.

Of course there is. I know of at least two in a district of only 1,000 voters with NO muslims and NO Mexican border jumpers. So in places where border jumpers are common they are almost certainly common,

Well, I guess we have no need to worry about Flynn. He has done the gentlemanly and patriotic thing and resigned in order to save bloodshed or maybe just save Trump. He is still, in my opinion, the General's General and he continues to have my support. And, yes there's a great deal of voter fraud. Did anyone hear the Atty. General from Kansas on
Monday. In their search, they found millions who were registered in more than one state and that's legal voters. Not saying they all voted twice. It sure opens up reason to be suspicious.
