Try ordering flowers from an internet site for delivery in a remote location. They go through the same sort of taxes, special delivery fees, ordinary delivery fees, fees for weekends and many others. It more than doubles the stated price.

The worst part is that the specific arrangement ordered is usually not what was delivered and paying for the premium version of the arrangement doesn't get anything better than the cheaper version. I have given up on net services and instead look up a florist in the area where the recipient lives and call them directly to place an order. Better quality and far less charges.

I had ordered this strawberries for Christmas. Didn't have all of the extra fees. Never opened the box and just stuck it on the shelf for 5 days, nothing said about refrigeration but I should have known. Needless to say, had to through them away.

I was once enticed into participating in a business and was "trained" to realize that my profit would come from the shipping fees. Be aware of this type of thing on e-Bay also.
