How one answers the questions I posed should clean it up.

It should go with out saying that America comes before Party. At least for me I put what is best for American before any political issue.

2nd amendment, many failed attempts to diminish it's meaning.
Dependence on government is certainly a loss of freedom.

We both know that things have not been the best for the General Public.

Okay before the election some one had control over America. Who was it & how did they get it? When did this take place?

Just who is going to have the control now? How is control going to be taken away from those that have it or had it?

I have my personal view of what has been taking place. It has been taking place for quite a while. & I say it has been for the most part the Moneyed Interests. I also say that Moneyed Interest in control now will put up quite a fight to keep their control.

Just how do you view this issue. Is this going to help or hinder the General Public?

Seeds of communism were planted in the early part of the last century.
FDR really got the ball rolling, it is a slow process, etching away at our values a bit at a time.
We have had a couple of presidents that were aware of this and suffered for trying to do something about it.
This last election was an end run for a takeover of the US. A terrifying prospect for sure.
They bit off more than they could chew. Trump was a tremendous shock to them, not part of there slam dunk plan.

Yahda Yahda Yahda. But when I see in the press that some have gained Billions. Then I see people on this site who feel their pockets are being pick by the poor old dumb soul on the street for all of their problems.

YOU SEE PROBLEMS BUT REFUSE TO SEE WHERE ALL THE MONEY IS REALLY ENDING UP.

I realize my fate is my problem & I am not looking at Washington to see any improvement in my situation. I know that as each day goes by more & more of those that think our savior has arrived will awake. There is no doubt in my mind that the day will come when the realization comes to most that we need to stop relying on those that stand & tell us they know what we need.

Life for most is down on the street with people just like us. Most of us do or have done what is needed to see that life on the street goes on.

Some wish to get out of life more than they put in. Most of us in life would be more than happy to get out as much as we put in.

There is at any time only so much to go around. So I say look around to see just who is in each group.

Each of is in charge on what we have in our life & are responsible for that. But what we are seeing now is that more & more are coming short & falling through the cracks of life. We need to look at an say! Am I going to be the next one to fall through the crack.

There are some on this site that have fallen through that crack & are looking at those to lead them who have been a part of causing those cracks.

A one time I was filled with life & believed that my leaders were fair & would see that no matter what went wrong they would fix it so we could just go on being good citizens doing our jobs & not to worry that when we could not do what needed to be done we could look to the system for the stability we needed.

Now we are being lead by those that see what is so wrong with our system that they have made & feel the only thing that will save them is grabbing all they can. Even to the point of destroying the system.

I see nothing wrong with some having more than others.

But one way or another there has to be a limit on how much any on person may have. There needs to be a close look on how that happened.
We don't need an any thing goes system.

If by "press" you mean MSM, you are seeing what they want you to see, in order to get the reaction you obviously give them. It is astounding that you feel you are informed yet your source of information is the poorest news outlet we have.

So you will believe what you read & I what I believe. That seems to be what the media & those in control want. It seems that you want to be divided. So divided we stay. In the back rooms of America they thank us for not wanting to find the actual truth.

I say that some where in the news we can divine the truth if we wanted to.

I would say that I am under a much less of a delusion than you. I because of what & who I am is much closer to the middle in all of this than you see..

I am very conservative in my every day life. But I strongly believe that my person safety & well being depends on the safety & well being of others.
So I am very much a liberal in how the basic system should work.

The role of the middle in America & life in general is to get as much out of the bottom & pass on to the top as much as they ask for. Your reward then is as few crumbs as they can get away with as your reward.

On my path through life I asked for what I wanted & got it. Knowing full well that I had to ask for less than what they could pay so I would get what they would pay me. Or what was comfortable for them.

So In my choice of what I believe is what you fail to see.

There is not much either of us will gain from what is going on until we both (I really only mean you) see eye to eye.

You on the other hand seem to feel that as long as the wealthiest throw you a few crumbs you will keep kissing their back side.

For I see that it is people like us that have a hand in doing all of the things that need doing. We have with in our self the power to make all of the changes need to truly take back the power of America that rightfully belongs in our hands. This will never take place as long as you are so bullhead & believe that I am your enemy.

I feel that any thing that will make it better for you will make it better for me & like wise.

No matter what you want to believe we & in this together & only to the extent of our togetherness can the answers really be found.

Floyd-unless and until we replace professional politicians with statesmen/women nothing will change. Big money
buys whoever is up for re-election and as long as he/she promotes what they want, he/she has a job. So, we have to get rid of Big Money and put limits on how much can be spent in election or re-election bids. Election financing has to be with taxpayer dollars so that candidates get an equal amount and are unable to sell out to the highest bidder. With real patriots making decisions on behalf of constituents we have a better chance of the interests of the country , as opposed to those of respective political parties or special interests , being paramount . Term/Age limits are a must. America First !!!

I agree with you. Each of in our own words needs to pick up talking of our problems & voicing our thoughts as to what needs to be done.
This site is as good as any to sharpen our take on what we would like to see happen.
The thing is not much can be done with a direct approach to political parties.

As we fine ideas we all can agree with we just need to state things in a manner that is agreeable with most. The people running things are sharply aware of who we are & how when they see we are becoming less divided inroads to what we say will have greater bearing.

We will not be able to do much now but use our voices. We need to look at how things went during the campaigning this time & try not to be as divided.

I do feel that each of us has to take sound ideas & put them in our own words as much as we can. They can not attack an uninvited front.

I'd say you make so many false assumptions that your opinions aren't grounded in reality.

For instance you started off your last post making another of you erroneous assumptions and went on from there.

Who said I believe what I read?

You have no idea what I believe nor how I acquire my information, yet you think you do. And you have no idea of how I prioritize or why, nor do know which or for that matter even if I ascribe to any political philosophy yet you repeatedly tell me we disagree.

What we disagree on is basic.

I believe in waiting to be injured before I complain about it. You believe in predicting, then complaining about what you predict.

The solution to your complaints is simple. Stop predicting.

Well the issues is do we have the means to have reasonable control over our life's or not?

Has history & what is going on in the World today to go on with out any input by those that see the folly of the actions that are taking place today or have taken place in the past.

For to long most of have sat the sideline letting others promise good things for all only to just create more problems for the masses.

For my part in all of this I only wish to see a system where the most are a true part of the system. One where their voices & votes are heard & count.

There is much about our system & way of life is good. It is our job as citizens to take an active interest in what is going on around us.

Isn't that what most here try to do.

Our personal control over or personal well being is & has been eroding. Just voting for who we feel is the best of the bunch has to stop.

Politian's have joined in the battle of control over the masses in the Market Place, the Media & Government & use all the means they can to divide. us.

If we choose to see that or not is the issue I am trying to make. Are we to stay divided or not. It is our choice & the only way that we can reverse what has happened & is going on.

I have found a little corner hopefully far enough from the edge of the cliff to last the few days remaining. About all that I can do is to warn others to work on avoiding that cliff.

The big issue is that we all can not have all the wants we would like. We all need a chance to have our basic needs met.

We need to see that every has a fair chance to live in a safe & sound environment.

It is not having more than others is bad. It is how they choose to use what they have that may cause hardship or harmful actions to others.

I am not putting this down because I expect you to except it. Some where at some time bits & pieces may cause some one to see a bit of light in what I write.
