Big Brother is watching. It seems that the FBI paid off Best Buy's Geek Squad to turn evidence of child porn during a customer authorized search. (The customer being unaware of FBI participation). While I abhor child porn and the perverts who participate in it, if this is allowed to stand there is a real possibility it will create a precedent for yet more warrantless searches in other areas. The Patriot Act needs to go. The
Road to Hell and all that. Once a precedent is established as case law, the FBI or other government agencies can use this as authority to conduct other warrantless searches. You think it can't happen? Churches used to be inviolate. Now they are not. Evidence obtained not included in the warrant used to be inadmissible. If there is no warrant, what is admissible then?
