Mahopac New York -- Snow just started, expecting 6 inches and currently 22 F. Temperatures slated to stay below freezing for many weeks to come. My son will be clearing this one.

Have no idea what the temperature is. My son went out this morning a put a ruler on the table on the patio. 7" so far. Predictions for the Virginia peninsula were from 4" to 14" depending on your location.

Boatbob, people like you piss me off until I remember oh crap he's living in FLORIDA -- then I feel sorry for you! Seriously this has to be the best time of the year down there. I have always been unfortunate in having been there in July, August and once in September. Don't let the noseeums bite!

I know this is going to sound like BS,BUT,I have not seen any noseeums,or mosquitos here in North Florida,( but I saw PLENTY in South Florida) The reason that I really like it here,is that all the Damn Yankees, that cant stand the cold go to southern Florida,,about 300 miles from me.

You don't have to worry about this damn yankee coming down there. The furthest south I've ever been is Charleston SC and that was 10 years ago...lol!
It's 8 degrees here in NE Ohio...

Don't worry about the cold. In 12 days things will really begin warm up. In fact so hot that many Lib's will be leaving town.(hopefully)

The noseeums are plentiful around Port St. Lucie and I fully understand about the Damn Yankee Snowbirds. My buddy owned a condo down there and he liked riding his bike up and down Hutchinson Island. He had a couple of close calls at getting run over by blind snowbirds driving their version of the Hummer, a Mercury Grand Marquis Brougham. He modified his bike and installed a fiber glass flagstaff, which had two triangular flags, bright Red and bright Yellow. First time out he was run off the road four times in a half mile, the flags had become a target. He gave up bike riding.

On Thursday minus 14 in northern Colorado with 6 inches of snow by Monday low 60s is predicted.

Snow is melting and temp is 19 with high winds 40 to 70 mph projected..I'd say they are at about 40 mph right now..

Not getting anywhere near 60s today although that would be great!!

Denver area~~warming is expected but here it can change in minutes..
