A Reminder for "Drain the Swamper;"

Before everyone gets too giddy, remember that every incoming president, (at least for the first year of his term), is bound by the constraints of the budget of the outgoing president. Trump will have to act within the constraints of the Democrat and RINO approved Obama budget for fiscal '17. You know, the one pushed by Democrats and passed with the help of Paul Lyin' Ryan, and Mitch "I'm Obama's Bitch" McConnell that the morons from Wisconsin and Kentucky so thoughtfully re-elected? Don't expect miracles the first year. Remember, thanks to the arm twisting of these to weasels, Sanctuary Cities and parts of Obama's Amnesty and Muslim refugee resettlement have already been funded.

I'm still mad at the RINO's for going along with "O" on funding all of his crap. I wish there was a way to nullify it.

Trump can undo part of the damage, but not as much as some people think. At least, not until next fiscal year, which begins on the first of October. Face it, he will have 8 months of an Obama/RINO budget to contend with, along with the likes of McConnell and Ryan, who would pimp their own mothers. These two clowns are not even RINOs; they areDemocrats In Principle, So Hypocritical It Is Scurrilous. I believe the acronym for that is "DIPSHIIT".

Not a chance in hell, Loki, that either the "sanctuary cities," or "amnesty," or the "Muslim {refugee/terrorist} resettlement" crap won't be completely redesigned by President Trump and his faithful army of conservatives Advisors and Cabinet members. Mr. Trump didn't steamroll {LANDSLIDE, EARTHQUAKE}, the entire (D)emonrat and RINO campaign opposers, who were slinging poison arrows, 24/7/365, {from EVERY (D)irection} at Mr. Trump, for PRESIDENT TRUMP to be suddenly (D)eposed or negated by the same clunk-heads as failed so miserably even BEFORE the transfer of power. I repeat, not a chance in hell. Anyone in Congress who would try to "cling," to the unwanted radical Marx/Alinsky (D) agenda "WE" just told to GTFO, {as over the past 6 years did the same to 1,500 (D) Seats in government}, would clearly be looking for another job {in the private sector}, REAL soon!!! The "Amnesty" program that BHO had funded will be monies used to transfer criminals back to their home turf, and set-up a few programs to register illegals, and on a case-to-case basis decide who stays and who goes; and exactly how long it will take to receive "entitlements," or American citizenship privileges like voting. And the "funding for refugee {terrorist} resettlement" programs will be for "extreme vetting," and "safe" zones established in the billions - with a "B," BILLIONS of vacant acres in the Middle-East. Most "Refugees," {like ANY human beings}, DON'T want to be forced to leave their home-land. It's a totally (D)ifferent story with Islamic terrorists!!! Hummmmmmmmmmmm. These are the things Mr. Trump promised on his campaigns, and "WE" HAVE to {AND WILL} hold his feet to-the-fire!!! No ifs ands or buts!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP!!!

Believe me Loki I am no way defending McConnell or Ryan but the power of the purse was basically all the Republicans had. Correct? I believe their only option would have been not to approve the budget. Which would have been just dandy with me. If they didn't pass the budget then parts of the government shut down. I'm also fine with that. The problem is, many of the people that call for not funding Obama's budget are the same people that throw a fit when the MSM and Democrats say the Republicans are shutting down the government. Since we all know that politicians are more interested in keeping their power than doing what's right I knew they would never fight Obama on his budget.

I know it's ludicrous to cry over what didn't happen in the past, but I am of the opinion that most of those who opposed funding Obama's budget would not have cried over shutting down the government. I think any reasonable person would realize that the Dems were the ones who were holding out, especially since the RINO's gave Obama more than he asked for. You are not going to appease the progressives by giving them what they want or even more. They are not in the habit of using reason or logic. I believe the only way to go is do what you know is right and keep going. I am hoping that Trump has enough support - it appears to me he is gaining support - to get some things accomplished. Anyway, let's hope so. Jan 20 can't come soon enough. I know the Dems are going to try to oppose Trump as much as possible. Go America.

"Shutting down the government" basically means that non-essential employees are sent home. They still get paid, eventually. What "shutting down the government really means is that non-essential people who are not even necessary get paid to stay home and not work, as opposed to going to work and not working. All the checks are still sent out, and the bills get paid. The foam on the beer gets inconvenienced a little bit.

You are correct. It's the so called Independents and uninformed that would have believed the MSM and the Obama administration, possibly costing Republicans their seats. Not saying it's right but that's how they think.
