Larry the Legend Loc: Not hiding in Milton

"The United States Constitution declares, in Article I, Section 10, "No State shall... make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts... However, EVERY State in the United States of America HAS made some other "Thing" an offer as payment - they have by law declared that they will accept, and pay out, Federal Reserve Notes for any debts owed by or to them." Thus legitimizing Federal legal tender laws in clear violation of the Constitution of 1789.

William Greene of South Texas College sees it for what it is, and has devised a novel plan to nullify the Federal legal tender laws using the plain language of Article I, Section 10 of the constitution and advocating for State by State nullification of this Federal legislative overreach.

We all know that fiat money is unconstitutional. We also know that the States are specifically barred from legislating anything but silver and gold as legal tender; however, the Federal Government is not specifically barred form doing so. Of course, it is not empowered to make anything legal tender, only to "coin money, and to regulate the value thereof", but that's besides the point. Ignoring the 10th. amendment, which, again, clearly states in plain English: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.", the Federal government assumed a power it did not possess and legislated the country into the most insidious servitude there is - taxation by inflation. This constitutional tender movement aims to rectify this.

Now, if we can just get some legislation regarding fractional reserve banking, we'd be on a winner all round...
