Fewer employees involved, but it looks like business has found a way to get what they want from trump. Look for "corporate blackmail" to become the standard for the trump business plan.

Meanwhile, trump and his fools at fox continue to brag about how many jobs were saved, and the real number seems to be closer to 800, while another 1300 jobs will be phased out of Indiana and sent to Mexico.

Now Rexnord is making their demands or they will ship 300 jobs to Mexico.

what will trump do, oh what will he do?

Remember what trump just tweeted;

The president-elect also vowed that "companies are not going to leave the United States anymore without consequences." So what consequences will trump impose?

They will have to deal, not Trump. They can stick there ball bearing where the Sun never shine's.

You seem to think (that's something) Trump gave up something to Carrier, not the case, What they get is when he cuts Corp Taxes they will make out.

Thought all of you dumb ass cons never wanted the government to interfere in the management of private companies.

Where is all of your outrage about "big government"?

And yes, trump is not yet sworn in, so imagine what kind of crap he will be pulling on idiots like you, investors and management. And workers will get the ultimate screwing.

And you assholes are in denial about what chump is going to do.

Trump's been buying off people for years and now he gets to use tax dollars to do it. Fun, fun what better gift to give Trump than the US Treasury to buy companies off with...

Hey, dipshit, you've been in denial since Obama got in office. You want to talk about pulling crap, no one can match that asshole. His corporate cronyism is a freaking renaissance, nothing can compare to what he has done. For example, he didn't bail GM out, he bought the corp (with our tax dollars) and gave it to the unions.

No Blade,

That is not what happened. We purchased control of the company, trash canned the management, turned the company around via the new management. Banked some profit, sold the company to investors at market price, getting nearly all the investment back and management, workers and our government all went back to business.

REUTERS – The U.S. government lost $11.2 billion on its bailout of GM when it sold its remaining GM shares according to a government report released in April 2014. The $11.2 billion loss included a write-off of the government's remaining $826 million investment in "old" GM.

The U.S. government spent about $50 billion to bail out GM. As a result of the company's 2009 bankruptcy, the government's investment was converted to a 61 percent equity stake in the Detroit-based automaker, plus preferred shares and a loan.

Treasury whittled down its GM stake through a series of stock sales starting in November 2010, with the remaining shares sold in December 2013.

"The goal of Treasury's investment in GM was never to make a profit, but to help save the American auto industry, and by any measure that effort was successful," Treasury Department spokesman Adam Hodge said.

And yet the lefties are now crying bloody murder over the Carrier deal, which VASTLY pales in comparison to the billions taxpayers lost on GM contrasted to not losing a dime on the Carrier deal.
