You are stupid. It wa the Democratic government that got us into that war and we had a draft back then and if you did not go you lost a lot of rights. He did his duty and did not turn yellow and run to Canada. When he came back from the war he did not have to hide. So suck it up as you would have snuck off to Canada instead of doing your civic duty.

What an absolute dispicable thing to say. At least the Veit Nam war at the time was to fight against communism.
How about going to Iraq and loosing your life because we had an AH like Cheney feeding a dumb SOB like Bush false Intel on WMDs and a massive nuclear program.

You all did a lot of missions "in country" and have earned the respect of the American public. There may be a few OPP members that are part of your Company, however a Patriot and Vet is always welcome in my book.

JFK had issued an Executive order for all 15,000 of our military advisors to be out of Vietnam by the end of 1964 but he had enemies in the mob the CIA and the Military industrial complex so they had him killed and the southern conservative BJ became President and three days later reversed JFK's EO then faked an incident in the Gulf of Tonkin in order to escalate our presence in Vietnam with 58,000 American boys drafted to their deaths for nothing with over 300,000 wounded and an estimated two million Vietnamese napalmed, carpet bombnd, and doused in Agent Orange with no telling how many Vietnamese wounded all for nothing but war profiteers

Hey wait a minute-- TDell has nothing to be ashamed of for his service. War is a game of survival. Once you are in it you will do what you have to or die. Politics mean nothing when the fire fight begins. I have a close relative who along with 6 other guys who were in bad trouble when a helicopter spotted them and landed. The enemy was laying down heavy fire and my uncle was shot through the legs as they ran across a flooded area to the chopper. They got on board all of them wounded. What would have happened if that Helicopter had not held their mud and stayed to help them God knows. TDELL is a patriot who was likely called a baby killer like I was even though I never killed any one. Give him a break and walk a mile in his shoes.
