Let's ban matches.

Every arsonist has one thing in common. They used a match, or a lighter to start the fire. If we banned matches and lighters there would be no more arson. If this makes no sense to you, then you understand why banning guns will never protect anyone. If you don't get it, then I have nothing to say to you. You are beyond help. A match is harmless, until someone uses it. Same with a gun. Enough said.

Makes sense to me. I'ld imagine many smokers would quit if they had to rub two sticks together in order to light up!

Many wouldn't. Just as a murderer would use a knife or blunt object, if they didn't have a gun. If you want someone dead, no law will stop you.

I'm as pro gun as it gets. I learned to shoot when I was ten. I know. A Late bloomer. What can I say? I'm a pretty good shot. I can shoot a three inch group at ten meters, with a .44 MAG, from a standing position. If that doesn't impress you, you've never tried it. Few people can overcome the tendency to flinch from the expected recoil. It takes a steady hand, and a willingness to just ride the recoil. You could leave an empty chamber, and the barrel would remain rock steady when I squeezed the trigger and it didn't fire. In fact, that's how I was taught. My grouping suffers a bit, when I shoot at two second intervals. It takes just about a full second to recover from the recoil. Doesn't leave much time to aim. So, six rounds in twelve seconds, I usually keep it at around a 5-6 inch group.
