So just where & when did your dreams of having it all die?

I live in a World in which some have what seems as they have it all but still keep wanting more.

A world where at any given time there is only so much to go around. Only a few can have it all. As more have it all soon there is little felt for others to have any.
There is fear of those out there with nothing to lose will destroy the World for those that want it all.
There is a need to see that One who wants it all has to see that one who has nothing to lose will go to great lengths to get enough to live on.

We that seem to be the main stream of the system need to see that the system needs to work for the most that it can.

The short sight that many on this form is I have what I have & I will fight with all I have to protect the system as I see it.
Well you had better see that the person who is fighting to be a part of the world of plenty. Is a person who can live in the World where there is a need to search for food every day.

An important part of saving much of what we have is seeing there are more gaining what we have.

So I say that if you like what you have & wish to keep as much of what you have you need to protect the system we live in. You are I are a part of what is destroying the system.
I will only say that I am taking less & want to take less than many others. What I have has come from wasting less & wanting less. Plus longer years of working.

This is ironic because they support a system that is fine to them. One that enables some to have it all. Now when they are faced with having a lessening chance of having it all.
They have come to believe that it is the fault of those who have very little are to blame.

There is the feeling some one has taken what they feel they deserve away from them & they want it back. They seem to have this foolish notion that when some who has seen this dilemma many face is using the Cry " IT IS OUR CUNTRY & WE WANT IT BACK " as a rallying cry to feed his Ego. A Person who is fixated on having it all.

Well it is my country also & all I want is for us all to get together & make it truly a system that will work for the most of Us.

So if we truly wish to keep the best parts of the system we have. We need to accept those changes needed. We that have enough now need to be for changes that see more having what is need for a decent life.

It is only those that have enough to enjoy some of the extras of life have the means to see that there is enough for others to have enough to meet their minimum needs.
If we can do that we will draw more in to the main stream to help carry the load & need less to support meeting the minimum for others.

Your choices is do we save the best parts of what we have or to we let it all be destroyed? By doing nothing will let it be destroyed Fighting what is going on will lead to destruction. Only constructive well thought out actions have a chance of saving the system.

Most of what I see is not constructive or well thought out ideas.

The thing I is see is the problem extends beyond what ever is done by the government. There are those with money & power that have usurped government for their own ends.

So government acts on the behalf of those they have sold out too. I also believe that no one will ever get any real power unless that person is able to convince those in power will get what they want.

They got what they wanted from Obama but left him to float in the wind. By blaming Obama you by pass what has really happened. It also leaves you open to missing what very well happen to the Next President. In this day and age what people look for in becoming President is to survive their time in office & take their generous pay off & leave to enjoy it..

I will stand here & tell you that I believe that both Trump & Clinton are looking for the same thing.(What's in it for them self).

I will not be voting for either.

I believe we are in this together & the answers to the problems will have to come from what we can agree on. Seeing how far apart we are it will not be quick or easy.

But I do trust that the day could arrive in the not to distant future.

Thank you for having a respectful reply to my post. I will be treating you with the respect I have now found in you.

It isn't what you keep. But what you give.

I share some of what I have but there is an endless stream of requests for contributions.

The issue of seeing that it is a system problem that has to be dealt with by seeing more jobs & higher wages that will do more for those with less.

I don't believe that you personally made up that list. Posting that list in a reply to my post I feel that you reject what are in fact my personal views in my words..

I can agree with what it says about much of what is going on today & adds to personal questioning of where one stands with all that is going on.

I don't believe that you are in total what is said. I do believe that we all need to question how we truly feel about each of those issue & not accept a blanket acceptance that is who you are. For in reality it is only issues that raises questions. Questions that may affect Us all in some way or another.

We all are a product of what we have been exposed to in life.

Being on OPP I wish to see what people really wish to say & say it in their thoughts in their personal words. Failing to do that we open our self to having our views dominated by others.

We both see things that are wrong, but we need to share our personal views & thoughts in our words. Doing so we can see & judge each other on our personal views.
For it is for each of us to truly have as good of a personal view of who we are & share those views with others who do the same. The better we can share our beliefs the closer we come to under standing each other.

It is only with trust & an under standing of our self & each other can we find the answers to the problems we wish to solve.

Not much of any thing can be fix if only seeking to find agreement with out a true understanding of views from all sides to an issue.

If we wish to have a place or way of doing things that most of us wish to have we need to include views of every one.

It is not to be an issue of just getting votes blindly made on issues. We have had to much of that.

If you have read to this point I thank you. If you find any thing you can agree with I thank you.

I truly believe that it is the difference in our views as well as any agreement that need to be voiced to come to an agreement in what is need to correct things we find needing correction.

You are correct, I did NOT write the attachment. (not this one either)

However, I must say that I have a great collection of thoughts, quips,
jokes, pics and yes some are a little crude. I enjoy making a point.
But sometimes, someone just does it much better!

So, it is what it is.

Well we are sure at a better stage of under standing.

I really don't mind your sharing with attachments. But from time to time to share bits of what is really a part of you heart & soul. In your words. For that is the only way we can find what is truly need to change the World in to what is best for Us & most of the rest of Us.

Just retyping the message from time to time in your words will do. I know that sounds silly but the act of doing that makes it a better part of you. You can even admit that it was not an original thought. But at least I will know that it is now a true part of what you believe. After all no matter what we write down it is a part of what we have been exposed to at some time or other.

It is part of why I think I am here. I want to find out how we all think in our own words. I think many of Us on this forum are being to see that we are respecting others more.
I know that I am & think that you are.
I done have a list of those who I look at as counter to what I believe. I try to be respectful to what they have to say. I don't do that as much as I should but am making progress.

When I send a message, it will always be "share" implied.
However, when I hit "quote reply" like this...Then, it's not a share.
It's a statement. And it's a statement to you.
It's not a negotiation...It's not about change...I said it once...
Now, one more time.

SOMETIMES:

"It is what it is!"

author...Unknown
1949 Newspaper Reference
We might never know the real origin of the phrase. However, the farthest back that we can trace it is to 1949, according to the New York Times. In a column written by J. E. Lawrence in the Nebraska State Journal in 1949, the phrase appears:

"New land is harsh, and vigorous, and sturdy. It scorns evidence of weakness. There is nothing of sham or hypocrisy in it. It is what it is, without an apology."

pretty much sums it up for me.

I get the point that there is little original you wish to offer.
