ZebulanI admit that I just don't get it. I read and watch a lot of information on Hillary Clinton. I see that she is a criminal. There is evidence,
a lot of evidence. You have to be deluding yourself to not see it. Yet many people that I know are very intelligent still support her, still defend her. I don't get it.
I don't care who the other candidate is really. I admit that. I will not vote for a criminal, ever. Some may say the other candidate is a criminal in some ways. I won't argue with that, but I know that no matter what any other candidate has done it cannot compare with the blatant disregard of the law that is evident among the Clintons.
To vote such a person into the most powerful position in the world sends a very scary message. It is voting for a king, a dictator. We are confirming they are above the law and we do not care. We are saying that the laws you create, the laws of our nation, the laws others are in jail for breaking, do not apply to our leaders. We all know that money buys a certain amount of justice in our nation. We all know that power does as well. But although these are negatives of our system, we do not blatantly condone it. If you are caught, no matter how powerful you are, we have always prosecuted. Sure, they may weasel out of it, but we still have put our leaders under the same laws as the rest of us. That was until the Clintons. She knows she is a criminal. We know she is a criminal. If we vote her into office, we then tell her that it's OK. Our laws do not apply to you. That is called a king, a dictator, a leader that is above the law. They can do whatever they want with no thoughts or fears of the ramifications or consequences of their actions.
How can we, a nation of equals, send that message? How can we live with it? How can we show the world that America is not really a nation where no one is above the law and that we are really a bunch of hypocrites, and only apply the law where it's convenient? I know that in many ways it seems to end up that way, but we have never condoned it as a nation. Now we are about to, now many are going to cast their vote for a known criminal and in doing so are going to send the message that our leaders can do whatever they want and we do not care. That the same laws that would send the rest of us to prison for the rest of our lives, do not apply to you.
So many very smart people that I know, that I see on TV, are ignoring this fact. They are mudslinging over the other candidates, trying to justify their beliefs. But Clinton has held one of the highest positions in the nation and while there she has shown she cannot be trusted to uphold the laws that she herself enforces as a member of our federal government. No other candidate has done that nor been there. There is so much dirt surrounding her that it's hard for me to watch. There is nothing she can say about the other candidates that she herself is not guilty of breaking…NOTHING! She may say the other candidates cannot be trusted with the responsibility, but no matter what the accusation, it is just conjecture. Where she has proven and there is evidence that she herself cannot be trusted and it is not conjecture. It is history. Anything about anyone else is just a guess, just a possibility. Where her betrayal is a fact.
We may get what we want. It reminds me of the ancient Jews demanding a king. God told them through the prophets that they did not realize what they were asking for, that he was all the King they needed. But they continued to demand. So God gave them Saul. Too late they saw the error of their ways. I fear that too late America will see the error of wanting known criminals to lead our nation.
Now with the email release, and there will probably be more, we have even more evidence of the corruption of the highest levels of the Democratic Party. We see they are the most racist, homophobic, elitist, anti-female, and corrupt group in our nation. That they use and manipulate their followers and do not really believe the values they preach. Yet millions still believe in them. Millions put their trust in them and delude themselves into thinking that everything against them is a conspiracy. “Though their eyes can see and their ears can hear, they refuse to believe.”
Maybe we will get what we deserve. Maybe it's time to show what happens to a nation that completely forgets and leaves their moral footing. Maybe a criminal does actually represent the bulk of America. Our country started with people that represented the greater good and that only was possible with people of great character. Now we switch gears and find those that have the least amount of character to represent us. And then we cheer and vote them to be our leaders. We will certainly get what we deserve, we may get our Saul.
