Well maybe you should think about reversing the agenda of deregulation. It's a slow process but the GOP is winning it started under Reagan with wealthy Tax breaks called Trickle Down Economics, (Clearly had not Worked) Continued under Bush (clearly did not work) when the left tries to change this agenda of deregulation the republicans block or filibuster then blame income and equality on the left.
I still have not heard any right moron on OPP ever comment on or look at actual legislation sponsored by the left or right. You just read media hack sites and Fox News and you're hate and racism will not allow any facts. Every link they post is mostly right wing hack sites.

Tax loopholes and corporate welfare that allow Fortune 500 companies to pay zero taxes and continue to receive subsidies.

Tax loopholes that allow major corporations in this country to only pay an average of 11.5% federal tax then your hack sites tell you the US has the highest tax rate in the free world.

Corporation paying there executives through stock options to avoid paying income taxes at the same rate as the middle class.

Allowing corporation that do business in this country to hide there profits in off shore accounts to avoid federal taxes.

Repeal the EPA, FDA, FCC, and any government agency that puts any kind of restrictions on corporations.

But this garbage all started under that jerk smooth talking Reagan and ever since trickle down economics the income in equality had exploded, the deficit has exploded, but your right wing hack sites have you convinced that it's the social programs and entitlement programs are the problem for debt and deficit.

I could give you many more examples of right wing ideology of turning his country over to the corporate elite.

But don't forget the Reagan statement debt and deficit is okay and he lived by that theory of wealthy tax breaks so from that day on the republicans have an agenda of (Borrow And Spend) While the right will criticize the left for there Tax and spend.

Never said they lost control but certain regulations can restrict them from 100% wage and price control. If you eliminate the min wage what do you think these corporate people will do.
