While I definitely think this meme oversimplifies issues with illegal immigration, it does call out a critical part that few seem to be willing to recognize.

I know the feeling, as I have had to admit it to others myself from time to time!
Oddly discomfiting and satisfying all at once.

So, if you are correct, what about the politicians that invite illegals to come in knowing they will be taken advantage of, while taking money from those advantage takers?

You trapped yourself. You can't heap hate on business owners without collateral damage going onto their co conspirators.

There's a reason the pro illegal crowd refuses to back citizenship verification.

They want the illegals to steal jobs, or as PP claims, profit by victimizing illegals.

Ofcourse the employers are taking advantage of the immigrants. But, allowing unfetted immigration is aqlso bad for Americans who need jobs. The slimy employers would have to pay minimum wage if there weren't immigrants willing to work for almost nothing. And keeping the borders open allows anyone, including terrorists in. We should check who people are before we let them in. Their religion shouldn't be an issue, but anyone with terrorist connections should not.

Super Dave - Funny, I don't feel trapped. Probably because I am correct that employers are part of the problem.

Yes, there are a lot of factors complicit in the illegal immigration issue, including politicians, employers and consumers who are unwilling to pay for products that are more expensive due to higher wages demanded by non-immigrants. I never said nor meant to imply otherwise.

Man up and be willing to look at the problem from all angles.

I don't disagree that they are part of the problem. I never did.

You needed to man up if you can't set that government is 95% of the problem.

Government invites illegals in, refuses to allow locals to help uphold the law, refuses to allow citizenship checks, punished businesses that employ citizens, and you blame the business owners for trying to survive?

I've run a business for many years without hiring illegals, but I understand why some do.

Simple answer, EVERIFY. When the Fed's start enforcing the law, and require the able bodied to work for their handout we may be on a road to recovery which will eventually lead to self deportation. I know this is overly simplistic, which means the government will never do it unless they can somehow line their pockets. The constitutional convention as proposed which will set us back to what the original document provided would be a good beginning. It doesn't require congressional approval.

I'm 66 years old, and for the past 33 years, I've lived in San Antonio, Texas and am now living in Tucson, Arizona... And I can say Southwest Border States' Farmers have ALWAYS hired Low-Wage Illegal Immigrants to PLANT AND HARVEST CROPS... But these Illegal Immigrants came into the USA during those times AND WENT BACK TO THEIR HOME COUNTRIES AFTER THE HARVESTING... They were MIGRATORY WORKERS... And this practice may be Morally WRONG, it is a fact of life along Our Southern Borders...

The Illegal Immigrants We are seeing now ARE LOOKING TO STAY IN THE USA... And DemLib-Rino-Socialists ARE SUPPORTING THEM TO STAY... And eventually, GAIN CITIZENSHIP... And PROMOTE THE ONE-WORLD-ORDER or USE - United State of Earth...

THIS IS INTOLERABLE...

And 2016 Elections ARE OUR WAKE-UP CALL...

While I concur regarding the employment issue, you neglected to mention the Democrats are as anxious for the illegals as the employers because of the new voters.

Who's inviting illegals to come in knowing they will be taken advantage of? Of course they are taken advantage of--that's exactly what the meme said. So long as business hires illegals they will find a way across the border. There isn't a single conservative out there who want's to stop business from hiring illegals which means you have no real desire to see the problem go away...

How are they new voters? Explain how someone here illegally can register to vote in this country....

I can understand the Democrats' position re: voters. That's part of the reality of politics; one doesn't get elected without votes so they must be found wherever they might exist. Republicans are bound by this reality as well, hence their courting of the far right votes. Do you actually think most Republicans agree with the hard right moral stance of conservative Christians? I doubt it, but they realize the group is an important block in their base, so they must court them to win.

The first rule, regardless of one's position, is that politics is a dirty, nasty business.

They also aren't here illegally. The have legit visa's to come into this country and pick for us. The illegals are in other industries, largely construction and domestic, and after someone has been here for X number of years with children born here you run into a situation where it's immoral to break up families. That's the same reason Reagan gave amnesty in 86 and the same reason we should work out something today. The wake up call though is simply to start nailing the businesses that are hiring them. If they can't get jobs they will go home...
