If there is nobody you can vote for, what to do...

So, there is Hillary and there is Donald left from the field. Both hurt your stomach, to even think about. What to do?

There is an established third party already in existence, which will be on the ballot in all 51 jurisdictions this November. That party has already established its credentials in former elections and represents the mainstream in American politics, even better than the Republicans and the Democrats. It consists of former Tea Partiers, who were alienated by the conservative turn that the Tea Party Movement took prior to the last Presidential election. It represents the same people who attended the Glenn Beck rally on the National Mall four years ago. You remember, the one where there was no violence and when the crowd disappeared, there was no trash left behind. The rally attended by the "silent majority".

That party is called the Libertarian Party. Their philosophy is lower taxes and smaller government. Their slogan could be "that government is best, which governs least", but they do not steal other peoples' slogans. Their belief is that less government equals more freedom; that it is not the business of government to take care of the citizens, because the citizens are fully capable of caring for themselves and making their own decisions; for those citizens who cannot care for themselves, there is the generosity of charity to fall back upon; that all religions are tolerated, but if you are an atheist that is tolerated, too; that the American military is for the DEFENSE of America, not to invade other countries and that a strong military is what is needed for our defense.

Libertarians believe in "live and let live", a vibrant free-market capitalist system, strict adherence to the Constitution and most of all in the RULE OF LAW.

Perhaps you are part of the silent majority? If so, the Libertarian Party could be your vehicle this election and in the future. Find them at LP.org.

Have you ever LOOKED at a primary ballot? There is always at least one "Independent" on the ballot - that you've never heard of - never heard of because the DNC and RNC won't allow it. There is always a "green party" candidate and sometimes a "Libertarian" and every once in a while, a candidate from another party no one has heard of.

Only repub and dem candidates are allowed to debate each other on national TV and cable. The other candidates must make do with public TV, the debates to which the dem and repub candidates are invited but never attend - lest they lend some semblance of legitimacy to those candidates. There is no law or rule, that says ONLY a demo or a repub may be President - that is merely the will of the DNC and RNC - backed by millions of dollars in ad revenues and history.

Look for another candidate. They will remain "unknown" - as long as nobody looks.

Wouldn't it be ironic if everyone voted none of the above? What would we do then?

Star all over? No, the House would select the President ( ryan ) and the Senate would select the VP. Perhaps, that's what they're hoping for.

It is impossible to be "independent" in a primary election. The candidate must be allowed on the ballot by the party under whose label he/she runs under.

Otherwise you are correct, except that in the general election, there are usually no other choices, but the Democrats and the Republicans, because it takes an enormous number of voters to sign a petition just to get the person on the ballot, nevermind elected. This, too, is controlled by the major parties, who want to monopolize the election process.

With your scenario, there would be a tie in the number of Electoral Delegates, 0-0 (zero-zero) which would mean the US House would Elect the President and the US Senate would Elect the Vice-President... And by the 1800 Presidential Election precedent, the outgoing House would be the body to choose the President and the outgoing Senate choose the Vice-President, and the Winner would need only a Majority Vote BY STATES in Both the House and Senate... And seeing as the GOP have a Majority of State Representatives, it would almost certainly mean Donald Trump would be THE NEXT PRESIDENT AND HIS RUNNING MATE THE NEXT VICE-PRESIDENT...

So Vote... If one person in every State DOES VOTE, it would "tip-the-scales" to the point that the Electoral College would Decide the Winners in place of the Congress... You see, YOUR VOTE DOES MATTER...
