Look at the historical record: In the three centuries since The Enlightenment, democracy, human rights, personal liberties and family well-being have blossomed. Life gradually became more decent and humane. Virtually all the advances were won by reform-minded liberals who defeated conservatives defending former hierarchies, privileges and inequalities.

Mostly misinformation or misrepresentations of fact. I do believe liberals are appearing to be winning because humans are naturally lazy and refuse to make the effort to plan their own lives well. So the easy way to survive is to depend on a big, intrusive and overbearing liberal government to take care of them. They would rather give up basic freedoms in favor of a father-child relationship with their government. Over the long haul, that type of system which rewards inactivity with government provided welfare can not survive and eventually will be destroyed by its own inefficiency.
