Pope Francis pleaded for solidarity with those fleeing war and poverty who travel 'all too often through inhumane conditions and not infrequently at the risk of their lives'
"I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land." Joel 3:2 (KJV)

EDITOR'S NOTE: In the third chapter of Joel, we read about one of the fundamental reasons for God's anger at the Battle of Armageddon. It is because outside nations have parted the land of Israel, dispersed His people, and stolen His silver and gold. Think about that as you ponder on the Pope calling for Israel to be divided today. The cup is filling up rapidly.

Pope Francis used his Christmas message to urge Israelis and Palestinians to formulate a two state solution by sitting down at the negotiation table and agreeing a peace deal to allow both sides 'to live together in harmony'.

He asked that Israelis and Palestinians resume direct dialogue which would 'enable two people to live together in harmony and end a conflict which has caused great conflict for the entire region', before praying for an end to the civil war in Syria and 'in remedying the extremely grave humanitarian situation of its suffering people'.

Speaking from the loggia of St Peter's Basilica in Rome, Francis issued a Christmas Day peace appeal Friday against poverty and extremist attacks.
He said: 'Only God's mercy can free humanity from the many forms of evil, at times monstrous evil, which selfishness spawns in our midst.'

'Where God is born, hope is born. He brings hope. Where God is born, peace is born. And where peace is born, there is no longer room for hatred and for war.'

Pope Francis then turned his thoughts to those affected by 'brutal acts of terrorism', mentioning the recent attacks that left hundreds dead in the likes of Egypt, Paris and Tunisia. He also called for the international community to end the atrocities taking place in Iraq, Libya, Yemen and sub-Saharan Africa, and called for peace and concord across Africa and in Ukraine.

God is the only one who can bring peace to the Middle East. This will not happen until Jesus returns, when He will destroy the armies arrayed against Israel, in the Battle of Armageddon. It will continue to get worse until then.

Damn, a left-wing progressive godless crackpot is now appealing to the Vicar of Christ. And only because he has a humongous hatred for Israel.

The hypocrisy is stunning.

The confederacy demanded a two state solution as well in 1860.What if we put all the blacks on one side and all the whites on the other. This is just another type of segregation.

[Pope Francis used his Christmas message to urge Israelis and Palestinians to formulate a two state solution by sitting down at the negotiation table and agreeing a peace deal to allow both sides 'to live together in harmony'.]

Israel and Palestine making a deal would be like Obama making a deal with Iran. Over and over Israel has made concessions with Palestine only to have Hamas laugh and launch more rockets at.

The Pope's intentions are Good, but he is as naive as our President... These people (Muslims lie to infidels)... It's part of their culture. Part of the Hadths or Sharia Law.

Muslims only recognize and respect Strength and Power. That is why Powerful Dictators have been able to keep them under control.

Left on their own, the power Mulahs and Omans will incite them to do their bidding... Such is Islam and the Submission of it's Followers.

This devil (the pope)is not nieve. He knows exactly what he is doing. He is one of the tools satan is using to posses the temple in Jerusalem where he will offer up his sacrifice refered to in scripture as an abomination. All closely associated with Mystery Babylon.

===================
Two states? None sense! Israel must be left intact forever, or none at all. Muslims will annihilate them. It has been the goal of Muslims for all to submit to their moon-god, and to destroy all descendants of Isaac and Jacob.

The Middle East since history begun, was owned by the Jews, Christians, and Pagans. Then after the death of Christ at about 623 AD, the Muslims under Mohammad in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, created this Islam religion using the moon-god, as the allah.

After series of wars, they invaded the land of the Jews, Christians, Pagans; erased their roots of ancestries, and antiquities from their own land.

The maps of the Middle East was revised, erasing all the past existence of the prior inhabitants who were the Jews, Pagans, and Christians. Muslims labeled all the maps as their own. That is why for the Muslims, Israel's land does not exist.

The Temple Mount, the land of Moriah, where Abraham brought Isaac to be offered to God as testimony to his faith, but God saved Isaac. Now, the Temple Mount was destroyed by Muslims where they built the Dome of the Rock on top of it.

What little land Israel has left for themselves could no longer be divided, as they have given to the Muslims almost all of their lands in the past. Israel must not be divided. And whoever calls for dividing that land is a hypocrite and jealous of the Jewish achievements despite on its very limited space.

You already have a two state solution now! In fact you have far more than that...90%! That is if you know anything about how Israel was formed, which I severely doubt. Israel first got 20% of the land promised them from the British after the breakup of the Ottoman Empire after WWI. The Palestinians got the other 80%, what is now Jordan. But, then the Jew haters, like you and your ilk, said after a while, "we demand a two state solution" and then Israel lost half of that 20% promised (10% of what was originally promised in all, for the math challenged like you). And, 60% of that was desert! Now, you Jew haters want another 50% of that! Making it 5% of what was promised...then years from now, another 50%, and then later another 50%....etc, etc.

I have a better idea, why don't you towel head Muslims, and Jew Haters, just leave Israel alone! You already have 90% of what was originally promised. But, that isn't enough for you towel heads...lazy and worthless towel heads that can't produce a single product (or viable industry other than oil), your only industry is violence...killing Jews and Christians. Pathetic.

Why get excited about what this crackpot Pope says? He may control vast wealth, but is just another goofball with a bully pulpit, not a political leader.
