Ahh the good ol' days. I'm still a sentimental guy. I just bought my wife a new Maytag washer for our anniversary. Geeze she wasn't impressed. Now I have to book a weekend get away. That'll shut her up.

Good ones Elwood and if everybody looked at all of them they would understand the correct usage for the word GAY and it wasn't homosexual or sodomite either.

Does you wife need new tires? thought people wore shoes. Maybe the tires are for her car, in which case, that is a good idea, it shows your wife that you love her and want her back safely.

Now if he added a nice new sports car to go with the tires that would have said volumes of your love and devotion. Now a nice Porsche in red would definitely put you in for some wonderful nights with her.

It might do that, but not if the debt is too much. We believe in buying things with cash when ever possible, not a loan, and that includes cars.

Speaking of tars (as they're called in Ballamer)...

Do you any of you remember the Fisk ads? Here's this kid dressed in his nightshirt, holding a lit candle in one hand and a tar over his shoulder, yawning, with the ad wondering, "Time to retire?"

I remember my mother (Dad had passed away) getting a set from a dealer on Greenmount Ave. Believe it or not,
those Fisk tars could be re-grooved! A guy put 'em on a machine that rotated 'em and a knife-like device was then moved toward the tar and cut new groove in 'em. Each groove had to be cut separately. I couldn't get over this modern marvel! I thought to myself, "You can't beat that shit with an electric mix-master!
