It really is great to be reminded of the good old days when you could hear things like this. I really do remember Rose Marie as being just like what was quoted about her.

Yes, the old stuff is better than the new trash. Tom Jones, It's a Mad , Mad, Mad World, Dr. Strangelove, newer The Unforgiven was a great movie, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, very good, score one of the best music a film ever used. Hell, Miami Vice has better music (Jan Hammer) , and production quality than most movies today! Even the old cartoons were much better. Art and story lines. Eg. Samurai Jack cartoons , were much better. Music? Check out the Ventures, Surfaries, Muddy Waters, Big Mama Thornton, Mississippi John Hurt, John Cash , Johnny Rivers , The Doors....the list is long. Today most have all the composition and sound of a train wreck.

You won't get any disagreement from me over any of your above comments. I am a big movie buff and love the old music, also. I don't dismiss all of the more recent stuff, though.

I loved the old Hollywood Squares, but then, who didn't? 8-)
I imagine Paul Lynde was the favorite of many.

Not all, but most, you must admit that Bob Marley was better than any "rapper" today. Who reaches the quality of the Fifth Dimensions , Procol Harum they just do not seem to be there

With the overall crowd on the OPP, you are likely preaching to the choir. We all, to some degree, have nostalgic memories we cherish.

Yes, indeed, he was, Armie. I remember him, also, from 'Bewitched', as Samantha's Uncle Arthur.
Mr. Lynde died in 1982.

I think the entire original cast died. The first Darrin died while the show was still in production. Excepting the daughter, She is still living, I think.
