Power outage

We had a power outage at our house this morning and my PC, laptop, TV, DVD, iPad and my new surround sound music system were all shut down.

Then I discovered that my iPhone battery was flat. To top it off, it was raining so I couldn’t go for a walk, bike or run.

The garage door opener needs electricity so I couldn’t go anywhere in the car.

I went into the kitchen to make coffee and then I remembered that this also needed power, so, I sat and talked with my wife for a couple hours.

She seems like a nice person.

Wouldn't the world be a much better place, if people just took the time to talk to each other? Too many distractions these days.

Everything sounded great until you got to the no coffee part! I gotta have my fresh brewed coffee in the mornings so I guess I would have taken a long walk to the store. lol

No....you mean, you LISTENED to her! Think about when Obama finally shuts down 60% of our power? The election is over nothing stopping him now, the CPUSA planned this years ago. Maybe you can still buy some earplugs?

She stayed? Even though you couldn't offer her a hot beverage? Well, she sure sounds like a keeper. I hope she found you a nice person as well, you know, so she'll consider sticking around.
