We aren't getting in the Political Forum any posts with truth-telling real news, or information about what is going on in our U.S. Government, our U.S. Congress, our U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank, we are receiving only stupid posts from right-wing and left-wing nuts who are lying, insulting each others, and sometimes using faulty language, and we aren't getting the information that really matters to the majority americans independents. Ideological extremism is dangerous not only to the U.S.A. but to the world.

The U.S. Federal Reserve Bank was created in 1913, as an independent organization and the U.S. President don't have any authority there only to nominated the Chair person. According to Rep. RON PAUL a Republican-Libertarian the Federal Reserve Bank is a criminal enterprise who now provide almost interest free $$$$ money to Banks and Financial Institutions who paid almost nothing to small investors and retirees for their CDs, Money Market, and Saving Accounts. The Federal Reserve Bank don't suppose to provide almost free $$$$ money to Banks to do business and overcharge their customers with high fees and high interest for credit cards accounts.

Thank you for a post that is actually thoughtful and intelligent. I was on the verge of un-subsribing to One Political Plaza because of all the uninformed/unintelligible rants that abound. Now I'll stick around a bit more and see if the landscape gets a little more truly informative.

Dear Mr. Gerald:

As a lifelong Democrat, I could not agree with you more. In my humble opinion, the emphasis, at least in this country is to confined to two things:

1. Getting re-elected and

2. Having the government run by corporate interests rather than the people.

This year alone has confirmed my fears. The Citizens United decision and the Hobby Lobby decision by the courts. BOTH decisions by the SCOTUS opened the door for more representation for corporations and less for individual Americans in general.

Simply put, I still have faith in the people. Its government, whether Republican, Democrat, Independent or Tea Party.

Do you have faith in a political party who proposed to reform Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid as we know it, and opposed Universal Medical Care single payer with cost control for all Americans like "Medicare" regardless the income. We need in U.S. better Medical coverage than H.M.Os. managed by money makers, and profiteers.

Then why do you not answer my question? Here we go again:

The Soviet Union fell not because of economic reasons but because the people wanted freedom. Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia broke away because they wanted freedom. Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia broke away for the same reason. The Ukraine and Georgia broke away for the same reason. The economy just made it possible for this to happen. but it wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for three great men. Do you know who these men were?

RiCKYRAY: The 5 Republican Justices of our U.S. Supreme Court legislated from the bench and transformed the 1st. Amendment into a powerful tool for Corporations seeking to evade and invalidate democratically-enacted reforms in our U.S. Congress by expending a torrent of Corporate money in political contributions.

This is a very good post. This also indicates that you will abide by these sentiments also.
That being the standard. Please review some of your later posts.

Suppose we all agreed with you as individuals "healthcare should be complete and comprehensive for "We the people". I'll let you explain how to make that altruistic issue come to pass.

Much better and much worse minds than ours have failed. Obama's plan is poorly con-sieved, poorly written , not read by the people charged with doing their jobs as legislators.

Most doctors became caregivers to earn a great deal of money. They do and do not want to lose it. Insurance companies make a lot of money from healthcare, hospitals are non-profit they invest all that money back into infrastructure and salaries.

Our 2 party system is so corrupt it is beyond redemption. How can you expect them to do honest work. Never going to happen.

The Four Agreements

Be Impeccable with your word.
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
Don’t take anything personally.
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dreams. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.
Don’t make assumptions.
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
Always do your best.
You best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstances, simply do your best and you will avoid self-judgement, self abuse and regret.
