It seems that more than a few American children are being taken from their parents in methods that violate our Constitution more than just a little. I have to wonder why the MSM and their good buddies, the left leaning Democrats don't ever talk about things like this. Could it be that they are following Obama methods for Americans and Trump can't be thrown out about these stories? Only anti-Trump and other lefties could be getting so excited about what is happening at our southern border for the way some people are using little children.

They have spread this one story about that tiny little girl down there now but I think that I have a video here about a 6 year old girl who was "stolen" by state lefties that should make anybody worry about what is going on all the time. They came to her house more than once to "take" her and her dad refused. Both times they took her from school without telling him about it.

This little girl was taken from her home when she was two and taken to her grandmother by her mother and finally her father got her back. The family's 4th Amendment rights were violated by state officials more than once.

OK, lefties tell me how this kid and her dad weren't illegally dealt with and both are citizens of the United States. Those kids down at the border are none of them citizens but I am seeing Democrat politicians talking so much about the rights of this kids from South of the border having rights violated. I think I may just go puke.

Why are you asking the 'lefties' about this? It's Warren County Mississippi. It's a red state run by Republicans. Just like the border, it's your friends who are responsible. Also, it matters not where the kids at the border are citizens or not. Their human rights are being violated.

Would you talk so boldly about human rights if American citizens were treated much the same in Mexico? I think you are so far left that you think human rights are the same the world over. Actually you don't think that we should have a wall to keep those people out like the countries of Europe do. I say we need to treat them the same as we do our own people.

In this case yes. If the process is to prosecute, then sending the parents back, I don't see why that cannot be accomplished without separating the families. We have seen the pictures....the children are in some form of kiddie prisons. I suspect it would traumatize them less if they were kept with their parents.

Now, to be quite honest, I'm not at all sure what the processes and laws involved are. I know what's coming next: do the children of Americans in prison have a 'right' to be incarcerated with parents. But to me here is the difference. The children of Americans are not themselves being confined without their parents.

Whatever the laws and politics of the situation (and perhaps I need bone up more) I have to say that I am surprised and dismayed that these are images that the world sees from 21st century America.

You're views of me are clouded by your prejudices. I am not 'so far left' that I don't think Americans have the same rights as other humans. Humans do have the same rights all over the world (first posited officially in our Declaration), the only questions are whether they are enforced.

That's not a leftist statement, it's an American statement. And how many times do I have to state that I think the southern border needs to be secured? I think there is an easier way of doing that than to build a wall.

I have to disagree somewhat, WCS. I've seen a lot of pictures myself. Some real, some fake, some old, and some new. The new ones look a helluva lot better than the old ones from the swarm of. 2014/15. They aren't being put up in the Holiday Inn by any means, but they aren't sleeping on concrete bunks in cages either. They have clothes, shoes, medical care, activities, and counseling. Like any other kids, they require a certain amount of confinement, and control for their own safety.

I really don't see how you can separate this from what American kids go through when their parents are incarcerated either. Here in Texas, if an American mother/father is arrested for, say, outstanding traffic tickets with a child in the car, where they might have to serve something like 20, or 30 days, the kid has to go somewhere. If another parent, or family member isn't available to take them, they go to CPS, and then foster care. If you think that's not traumatic for them, think again.
Unfortunately, I have a little experience with this, so I have a pretty good idea how it works.
