Nope I bought that this past weekend and there were two in the package. I had one a couple of days ago and this last one today. Do you live near a Sam's or a Costco? If you do I have some ideas for you.

Ok they carry at least they do by me the New York Strip Loin and that runs about $102.00 to maybe $115.00 as a guess. I have a Food Saver machine which is a vacuum food storage unit. I will then vacuum down each steak and freeze it. Those steaks will keep for a couple of years with no freezer burn at all. That is the way I buy my steaks. It costs up front but it saves in the end. I befood saver is around $100.00 if memory is correct. That's my tip of the day. If you were near a costco and had a Costco membership they have New York Steaks that are prime instead of choice. Now there is some fine eating. I had those in Maui when I was visiting my daughter there.

I was expecting to hear back from you on how you went to sams and bought a food saver and a New York Strip loin and had that cut to 1-1/4 thick steaks and then you vought a Rid Eye Loin and had that cut to 1-1/4 thick steaks and then bought a loin of Fillet for mama and had that cut up into 1-1/2 thick steaks. Now all of those steaks should be vacuum wrapped and in the freezer by now. Next you can go to the store a lot less because all you will need are going to be potatoes and fresh and frozen vegetables. Maybe some coffee and some milk and cream and a few other odds and ends and you are all set.
