Elian's mother took the daring escape from the brutal Cuban dictator Castro.
She took a little boat with her very young son Elian escaping to Florida. The mother did not make it, they were brought to the shores of Miami, but miracle had saved the very young boy. He was alive. Pete, why don't you volunteer to house, feed, provide medical care, and education for a few of these "families"? You claim your wife is a teacher, and you do all kinds of good things for people. Now is the perfect chance for you to walk the walk, buddy, lead by example, and show those sorry Christians how it's done.

Perhaps in addition to a Muslim family including three teen age boys Pete would like to house and take care of 3 M13 gang members. After all, according to the "progressives" all those gang member want is a job and some food and then they will be wonderful citizens.
