When Trump first announced he was going to Singapore I said that there was no agreement that Trumps peeps wouldn't hail as the greatest ever. I still think that that's what Trump conservatives are going to do--simply parrot and jump up and down for joy no matter what the agreement says. So now Trump says we are giving up our War Games with our South Korean allies so what in return does Kim have to offer to make this quid pro quo and the greatest agreement ever penned by an American President?

Trump blindsided the S. Koreans and our military by canceling the military exercises—something the N Koreans, the Chinese, and the Russians have wanted for decades—and got nothing in return. Some great deal maker!

Or not doing with Iran, since Iran refused to have anyone tip a toe into the country to verify. The agreement was void of any verification.
Unlike the agreement with NK that includes inspections.

It can't be done over night this is the first step and we all will have to see how it's played out .

Impression I'm getting from all of you liberals is that you would rather the whole deal fell thru then they could jump up and down with glee then it'd all be Trumps fault !

Not this liberal... I am for America, not at all for trump..

It never worked all the other times. Do we have anything unique this time?

I thought so for a while, but looking back, no same old same...

A year ago in South Korea, Trump's approval rating was 8%. Now, after the meeting, and when Trump, acting in good faith, withdrew the provocation of joint exercises, the South Koreans were overjoyed, Trump's approval rating in South Korea has skyrocketed. Even the rocket man himself is gaining some favorable attention from South Koreans just for going through with this meeting.

Ever since the Cold War, whenever a Republican president was in the WH, you leftists were screaming bloody murder that he was going to start WW3.

"Oh, God have mercy (or at least somebody have mercy) we're all gonna die."

You snivelers cried like stuck pigs over the very thought of countries building nukes, storing nukes, and, horror of horrors, using nukes. Gotta get rid of those damned things, can't have a Utopia with those things around.

Now, when an American president aggressively and decisively took direct action toward de-nuking a particularly wild and foolish nuclear armed regime, you flip flop, you turn the entire thing on its head, and whine and cry and piss and moan, not because of the possibility that something good, something fruitful, something promising may come of this that would benefit everyone, but because President Trump did it.

Leftists have even thrown a hissy fit when they saw the the DPRK flag next to the American Flag. As if they give a shit about the Stars and Stripes.

Vipers, hypocrites, the lot of you.

It is one thing to wish that Trump got nothing in return, it fits your hate agenda, but it is quite another that the returns may prove to be incalculable. Derangement syndrome is a recurring liberal disease every time a Republican is in office.

BTW: Our troops in the demilitarized zone are celebrating the outcome of this historic summit.

i think you greatly misconstrue the comments that are not heaping praise on the orange one.. But you view any comment which does not praise him to be un american..

As for that SK happiness... It comes from the possibility of a united, at least economically, Korea..

Of course the fact that nothing at all has yet happened. But that seems to escape the attention of most orange people on OPP... and else where..

I think most troops are concerned about dropping the military exercises..

I don’t know how eager the S Koreans are for a reunion. When Germany reunited, East Germany was a toxic dump and cost West Germany a ton of money.
N Korea is a starving, barren wasteland.

Nobody is acting like this is a done deal. We all are well aware that this wasn't like throwing a light switch and suddenly the room is bright. However, for the first time in history an American president and the NK dictator actually met and discussed the possibility of denuclearization of the NK peninsula. That in itself is a major leap forward.

It does appear though that Norks could use some lights.
