Check it out now, rumitoid. Go to any Welfare office and you will see a difference. It's MUCH harder now to get food stamps. You now have to prove why you can't hold a job. Trump's plans don't take long to filter down to the public.. He means business.

Main problem Emily is Trumps plan started in 2013 by someone else...

Funny they make us believe the vary poor are the prablum while they give trillions to the filthy rich. The Koch brothers make 60 billion a year and republicans gave them a tax brake and gave us 2.7 trillion in debt !

Incorrect... the Koch Bros netted 84 billion...

if an employer has someone who is not worth minimum wage he should fire them why do we force people to work for a minimum wage that doesn't allow them to have an apartment or enough food.

Then there is no reason to give anyone a pay raise, is there? There are many people working today who are not worth minimum wage. Hell, they should be paying their employers for not firing them.
There is no law that says you have to make a career out of a minimum wage job. You may be stuck in one temporarily. If you feel you are worth more than minimum wage, find an employer who agrees with you. There are all sorts of ways to improve your education so you will be worth more than that.
About Roosevelt, he said all sorts of things. Some true, some not.
Then there is no reason to give anyone a pay raise... (show quote)

Here's some food for thought... http://www.cnbc.com/2016/07/21/adjusted-for-inflation-the-federal-minimum-wage-is-worth-less-than-50-years-ago.html

Who's forcing? There are quite a few employment opportunities that pay considerably better than minimum wage at entry level. For instance landscaping...ooops, your precious "otherwise law abiding wetbacks" have that one sewed up. Then there is construction.....oops, that requires hard work. I worked a number of low wage jobs when I was younger. I didn't make a career out of demanding more money than the job was worth. I learned how to do something that would pay better.
I was ready to kill my youngest when he dropped out of high school. He realized his mistake quickly, got a GED, went to a trade school and now makes a VERY good living. Better than most college graduates in this area. Point being he took it on himself to learn an in demand trade that pays very well. He didn't get a job flipping burgers and demand more money for work that an eighth grader could do.

The point is the opportunity is there. There are all sorts of educational and training opportunities available to anyone with the drive to look for them. Insisting on being paid far more than a job is worth, rather than taking steps to increase your own marketability is simply passing the buck.

You fail to realize just why most manufacturing jobs went offshore in the first place... Why pay a trained employee a living wage in America when for the same money you could employ 6 or 8 not to mention no benefits … American wages have been stagnant for 20 years...
