This thing has a single triple coil pickup with a 4 way switch.

It can be run series, parallel and out of phase...although I don't think the latter helps.

Cool axe!

The Iceman's the Japanese produced at this time were some of the finest guitars in the world.

This is a Peavey T-27.

It has a 5 way switch with a splittable bridge humbucker. Notice the blade-style pickups...very sensible.

These guitars were workhorses and built far better than Fenders and Gibsons of the same era at a tenth the price.

If I ever find one in a pawn shop you can bet I'll get it!

Ya...I figured. Everyone knows what that guitar sounds like whether they know it or not.

Lot's of people played and Iceman over the years but the 70s and early 80s models were really well made, playable and sounded great...but very few of them came with that oddball triple pickup.

Am going to go out on a limb
And say he does, only us musicians talk about awesome guitars and the joy of owning one.
I personally had a custom Teisco way back
That I wish I had today. My first encounter with humbucker pickups and an utterly awesome sound.

Clumsily...but I'm a music freak and musical instruments are works of art as much as jewelry or paintings.

Ya...Glen Campbell played one back in the day. Most of the vintage Japanese guitars were superbly made. The Japanese had the "art and craftsmanship" thing down.

Uh...it was a t-60.

I suspect it was a t - 60: can't be sure since the main cutaway was reversed.mine was on the bottom and sunburst.
good point about Glenn Campbell probably one of many underrated guitarists who played The William tell overture
better than I've ever seen or heard.
also on the fun side since the Chinese came into play making or attempting guitars( zero quality control) it makes Japan look great now? who'd a thunk?

Got a vid of him playing it...not the one in the pic. That was just an example of a t-60.

Notice the thru-body hand hold? Very ahead of its time.

Saw him in concert in Vegas at the Hilton when I was in 3rd grade.

Uh...did you say yours had a reverse undercut? Whammy bar?
