Another crazed white nutter shot up a Waffle House with an AR-15 assault rifle. He was stopped by a patron who hit the assalient with a door and disarmed him grabbing the weapon and throwing it away over a counter. The gunman then ran away naked into the night and is still at large.

It was illegal for this guy to have any firearm, and yet he had them. Gun laws only disarm normal people. Bad people do not obey laws. That is why they are bad.

Great point! He did it with an illegal obtained rifle which proves why we all should be armed to protect ourselves! Only law abiding citizens obey gun laws, not criminals!

Do you care that the person, who provided the firearm used, prvided it to a person who he knew to be prohibited from possessing it.

This is just one more crime that would never have happened, if existing laws had been enforced and obeyed.

If you think that you can "FIX" that, just by passing another law, then you are lost beyond all hope!

Both father and son should be prosecuted to the fullest possible extent of federal law, the victims deserve nothing less!

Nothing like hyperbole to boost the impact of your moronic statements. Tragic as it is, 4 people killed does not a massacre make. Neither the AR 15 or a baseball bat is an assault weapon and when a real live human being assaults someone with either, it then becomes the weapon used to commit an assault.

I'm surprised you are not cheering for the shooter, Travis Reinking, last year he attempted to breach WH security to get to your boogy man, the "pumpkinfuhrer". That is when 4 guns were seized from him.

If you can come up with a sensible and effective means to prevent mentally disturbed individuals and criminals from obtaining firearms, let's hear it. Universal background checks won't do it; passing more restrictive laws that affect only law abiding citizens won't do it, banning specific types of guns won't do it. But before you go into another emotional tailspin and start whining again, I recommend you take a brutally honest look at all the liberal PC and policies that establish sanctuary havens for criminal illegals, that give uneducated, even illiterate, illegals a free ticket to come into America and take advantage of the government tit, that release convicted felons from prison, that block any attempts to officially enter the names of mental cases into threat databases, that legalize non-prescription drugs, that sanction the killing of unborn human beings, that promote debauchery and sexual perversions, that projects its hate and contempt onto Christians, conservatives, republicans, or any other body of Americans, including their cats and dogs, that stand against liberalism's disastrous policies; that have eroded the moral fabric of our society.
