James Comey was a former US Attorney and served under Obama and Bush as head G-Man. Married to one woman, 5 kids and fostered other children, taught Sunday School and until 2016 a lifelong Registered Republican, now “unaffiliated” (as am I).

His response to being unceremoniously fired is understandable but he should be careful of the book tour since his enemies in the White House are combing the trash cans looking for garbage to throw because his perceived integrity is an existential threat to this Presidency.

Sorry, but he seems a stand up guy, surely not perfect but compared to his chief abuser in the White House...( no need for me to list the personality defects...you must know them by now)

Are they haters for pointing out and questioning the lies, distortions, contradictions, misinformation and obfuscations of this President and his administration when they are merely doing their job? Add to that the veiled threats made by Trump about controlling or sanctioning Press freedom because of negative coverage. This whole scenario has a Nixonian feel to it and you know how that ended.

If you bothered to get your facts straight and read back through my posts a couple of years you would see how I castigated both when I saw behavior that merited it. This is not a little league game where we have to tell all the little darlings they are “winners” just for showing up to the game. Yes I am choosy. I choose to encourage and applaud classy behavior when it benefits the country and the world. I esteem honesty, openness and strength of character.
I see none of these qualities in the current occupant of the White House. This is not a right or left issue with me and I do accept that Trump somehow won the election. On that basis I was prepared to overlook his initially graceless performance, hoping that his insurgent Presidency would actually rock the system of party patronage in some meaningful way. I have been sorely disappointed. What we have now is a peevish five year old, tantruming and bickering with the adults in his world and obviously fearful of some truth being revealed by someone high in his government that he ruthlessly fired without protocol.
if you and others are butthurt about my criticism of Trump then put some ointment on it and get over it. As long as Trump acts like a lowlife sleazebag I will continue to call him out.

For the record I support the missile attack on Syria and I do fault Obama for trusting the Russians back in 2014.
