Those supporting this tax cut are wealthy or completely ignorant, My wife has two veterinary clinics, not wealthy, works hard making a good living. Her accountant was preparing her for what write offs are no longer going to be there, things that are costs of doing business. She has never been a tax cheater, claiming bogus expenses or taking any of the substantial cash that comes in under the table off the books.

When tax policies drive honest people that never minded claiming income and paying taxes on it you can only imagine where those who have always taken as much money under the table as possible go.

That well may be, as the largest tax cuts went to the middle class. But remember, individual cuts expire in 2025 while corporate cuts are permanent.

With the deficits ballooning at record levels under the Republican administration, there's a high likelihood that Congress will have no choice but to let them expire. In the meantime, look for cuts to SS, Medicare and Medicaid. The folks who utilize those benefits are not going to suddenly become younger or healthier. So the burden of caring for them will fall to the states. Either taxes will go up or the quality of life will go down in our cities (envision old homeless people in wheel chairs).

I have been on Medicare for over 20 years and haven't seen anything happen to benefits lately. However, it seems that I pay much more today than I did 20 years ago. Do you have any idea how much we get to pay monthly? Most of you leaners don't or you try to act like you don't.

I must have become healthier the past couple of years in that I only attend doctors for semi-annual visits that have been there for so long. I do feel bad about my semi-annual visits to my heart doctor but they worked so hard to keep me alive in 2005 when they did the six by pass on my heart and it seems to be still working. Since I am so close to the normal expiration of my term I wonder when I will have to get my wheel chair that leaners talk about so much.

No sense in trying to explain that to them, especially those of the Woody bent, they don't want to see those polls that you and I see.

Get the Peptobismol ready. All signs are that the GOP will take a torpedo below the waterline in the midterms and it is because of the political albatross around their neck known as Donald J.Trump. It is no longer a right or left issue when half the President’s adopted party loathe him in secret and so many GOP members are declining to run, including the once rising star and Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan.

If the rinos are dumb enough to not use trump they will get killed.

Nope, Pelosi is already out...............so she will not be speaker. Everyone knows her time is way past, and there's little doubt that she will receive very few votes from her caucus. Just so you know; even if every single Trump supporter stayed true to the GOP ticket, there are not nearly enough of them to carry the day.

Here's some background on the 2016 elections:

For Trump - 20%
Against Clinton - 30%
For GOP - 30%
For male - 20%

Damned fine numbers. Where did you get them? I am surely glad to be in both majorities in them.

No polling necessary................you just ask the caucus members directly. Remember Pelosi's famous " you have to pass it to see what's in it " BS? That did not endear her to the Democratic caucus and one must have the majority of the votes to be speaker..................she's not even close.

You need to find something else to scare folks with, because the "Pelosi as speaker" tagline is ridiculous.

It is your Pelosi quote and the fact that it scared me then and still does that bothers me most about her getting that huge gavel back. I haven't heard many words about who will take over if she can't but plenty of mentions about who should replace Ryan, mostly Estabishment people, but not much from the Left.

I guess you do know that it takes a majority of members to get any Dems back in the chair, don't you? You talk like you really believe that part is over.

The thing about the establishment people is correct because the RNC leaders have set up the congress and the senate as a pay for play scheme.

RINOs, I'm talking about the RINOs. As I see it, the democrats have unleashed a level of savagery never before seen in America and they will not back down until they have won their war against the constitution. The democrats will build their voter base out of anything they can get their hands on, doesn't matter how debauched or ignorant or uneducated or illegal and they will hold on to them like Gorilla Glue simply for their votes. Once they get the votes, the voters are simply filed away under the various labels and forgotten until they are needed again, like a tool in a toolbox.

The RINOs, oth, are cowards, they don't seem to care which party is in power as long as they keep their jobs. RINOs won't fight, not for their president, not for their voters, not for the American people, but only for a plush velvet covered seat in a big building in DC. The real Americans in congress, the patriots, like those in the Freedom Caucus, are outnumbered. The rest of those in congress, D or R or I are greedy, arrogant, hypocritical self-serving egomaniacs. Schumer and McConnell are two sides to the same coin.

I hope people realize that if liberal progressives succeed in taking permanent control of our nation, then the voter bases in each party will cease to exist, and all American citizens, no matter what their political convictions may be will become nothing more than serfs, slaves to the power and control of elite oligarchs. America as it was meant to be, as many of us once knew it, will no longer exist. The freedoms we've once had, the opportunities for prosperity, the safety and security we enjoyed for so long will be gone.

This brings me to president Trump. Though he ran on the Republican ticket, he is not one of them, he is not a D or R, not an establishment elitist, he is the People's President, one we haven't seen in office since Renaldus Magnus. This is why the liberals and RINOs, in congress, in the media, and in nation as a whole, despise him so. Even though Trump has done some things I can't get my head around, he has done so much to pull our beloved nation back from the edge of the abyss. I will support him come hell or high water. And all those who oppose him, who hate him so much can go f*ck themselves.

The unprecedented level of savagery from the left is in part meant to show anyone who would even think about taking on the corruption and abuse of power in Washington D.C. what will happen to them. And yes, the RINOs ARE cowards. It is sickening to watch, I am very much impressed with President Trump's ability to take the never ending assault on him and keep moving his, (and the American people who voted him into office,) agenda along.

That is because for the past eight years the Obama administration has moved the original CORE item from the scale that determines the amount of cost of living increase Social security and SIS receptions receive.

Original items were Doctor bills, drug costs,
Food, shelter, clothes lights and other necessary items elderly people need to survive.

To keep things prices low to make Obama look good they would remove items that had large cost increases and replace that item with a lower cost increase. An example would be say Doctor's office price increases 20 per cent the administration would remove it from CORE and replace it with steel which had a one per cent increase thus lowering the cost increases you get. This keeps millions of dollars in the cookie jar for their greedy hands.

God bless America

Polls are a waste of time. Most of them are rigged so that your responses support their positions and many people lie deliberately because we are inundated with solicitors who want our opinion in their polls yet our opinion is never reflected by anyone else. Couple that with those who simply won't answer any poll and you get a completely skewed opinion sample.
