Blindness to fact and allegiance to Party Line sums up the Right. The Left remains a little naive, and maybe lazy: they still believe there is a functional rapport in the best interest for America. Forgive them, they are slow; such a rapport ended maybe a decade ago with Evangelical demonetization of the Left, though that feeling was growing with Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson from the 70s. Christianity is the cause of our present divisiveness and will be the cause of America's demise. We have stark evidence that their interference in politics usually ends catastrophically. Enter Prohibition.

The Temperance Movement helped forge an underworld; it was the impetus for the Mafia and later Cartels. It's no-nothing plunge into worldliness generated decades of criminal enterprises. Without Christian interference of government policy in establishing Prohibition, we would always be looking at isolated violations of law: Christianity helped create an empire of wrong. The road of good intentions....

Christians, no matter how well-intentioned, should avoid all politics at the risk of their immortal souls.

I do not believe he was laughing, I think that he was agreeing with your thread. He is after all a Liberal that has posted many times similar comments as yours.

So what your saying is that anyone that is a Christian should not be able to express their opinions, or have the right to vote ? Where does this end ? Next, maybe because African-Americans may not share your views and what you believe to be the truth, they are also striped of their rights ? What about all the illegals pouring into this country ? At what point do you determine that they no longer have a voice ? First, have you ever read the book 1984 ? Second, have you ever read the Constitution ? Third and most importantly have you ever read the Bible ? I would hate to live in your world.

I was not disagreeing or agreeing with your thread, I just though you may want to know that the guy you thought may be laughing was instead agreeing with you.

Lol, that was abundantly clear. He was not agreeing with me: nuance matters.

... "I just though (forgot the "t" in your rush to insult and disparage)> You are always wicked in intent. The worst person I have ever known. Your guile reveals your sinister nature. And you are greatly accomplished at it. The Best! Too bad Most Notorious does not recognize social media. You are a shoe-in for first.
