You can figure out where he's headed by who has been indicted and plead guilty, what they are being charged with gives a good idea of what they were involved in (with Trump). Most were involved in criminal activities with Russian oligarchs, these guys had tens and hundreds of millions running through their hands. They were brokering money laundering deals through Trump properties. And where were these Russian multi billionaires getting their money? They were stealing it from Russia. Trump played a vital role in helping them get their stolen money into the US.

And what is the thing that is also used to take down people who play loosey goosey with laws and rules? Taxes, the IRS is invariably the tool used to take money launderers down. Because they are facilitating handing money back after a sale that puts the money back in the hands it came from, it leaves large tax liabilities and a temptation to play games with falsifying transactions. Money launderers are fully aware of tax liabilities to middle men, and pay large percentages to compensate for that.

Mueller is sitting on Trump's tax records, the FBI has computer accountants that can put financial pictures together from the most convoluted tax structures ever conceived. Trump was known to be a tax game player, and was always being challenged and challenging his tax obligations. The very idea of being Trump, money laundering and playing tax games and then putting yourself in a position (as president) where you would likely be subjected to FBI scrutiny on the things best left alone, is truly just about the stupidest thing imaginable.

The only thing stupider than that would be to surround yourself in the campaign and cabinet with people who have a long term history with Russian oligarchs. The background checks involved with Top Secret security clearances are no joke. Any contact with Russians flags you as a serious security risk to the country, this is no joke folks. Financial ties are another red flag to security risks, having any debt or money owed, especially having done business when that business is illegal makes you a risk to national security that is 100% unacceptable.

This stuff didn't come out during the campaign, and it actually should have, but Obama decided not to risk being perceived as influencing the election with dirt on Russia's ties to Trump and staff. So now that it's coming out as it inevitably would, it is what it is. Start thinking what your attitude would have been had a democrat had these involvements, not sucking into the fake news narrative.

People who are going down were under investigation for years before Trump ran for office. Trump's orbit coincides with these people and what they were doing. It's not shocking that he was involved, it's actually not even a surprise. Trump projects were funded by billionaires, and used by those same billionaires to launder the money they were taking out of their country. Any defense that Trump didn't know what this was and how it works is completely ridiculous, that would be saying Trump is a completely clueless fool.

Either people who still support Trump are cluelessly blind, or they actually can see and know he ran on the shady side and they don't care. But don't try to say this is fake news, that insults people's intelligence.
