Does that now place you at the top of the pecking order of great minds, ol' mighty Vocabulary Visigoth, or not

Not for theoretical physics.

Maybe you need to brush up on that aspect of your education.

What I know about theoretical physics would fit in a shot glass. You'd have room left for the shot, probably.

You're not alone. I've tried to read and understand the very smallest parts of quantum mechanics and it makes me feel like a lost rabbit in Manhattan.

Oh, I understand a lot of the theory; it's the math that cooks my comprehension goose.

I was listening to Rush and I guess Hawking said that we only have 200 years to find another planet and inhabit it because we are destroying earth. Where is this planet because we better get cooking if we are to make it there in only 200 years.

According to the Bible, God has that all under control and the Earth will be transformed. How, is a matter of interpretation.

Well yeah, the math is beyond me. The theories are just REALLY wild.

Listening to Rush was where you made your mistake, bahmer. Rush is no more capable of understand theoretical physics than he can understand something as simple as 1+2=3. What he does know is that he LOVES pain meds and washing them down with lots of whiskey. Just ask all of his ex’s if you don’t believe me.

Of course, that could explain why he’s so mentally and emotionally deranged. All those chemicals have totally messed-up what little mind he started out with.

Carl Sagan (who died several years ago) and Hawking, in my opinion, were two of the greatest minds of theoretical physics and astrophysics, ever. Too bad they were devout atheists. Even they admitted they couldn’t explain how all of the matter of the universe was compressed into a small ball, about the size of a large marble, then allowed to explode, forming the universe we now live in.

Loki, have you read Sagan’s book, “Cosmos?” I found it to be fascinating!
