Which Rendition of the Nat'l Anthem Was Worse? Fergie or Roseanne?

Fergie really went overboard trying to sing the Nat'l Anthem like a version of MM's "Happy Birthday, Mr. President to JFK. It didn't fly very well at the NBA All-Star Game. Not since 1990 baseball opener have we seen anything so bad, with Roseanne Barr probably grabbing the "Worst" after grabbing her crotch. Lady Gaga sang it with so much CLASS a year ago, and this did nothing but send Fergie's popularity points right into the dumper, IMO. Embarrassed with laughter. they probably couldn't believe it. I saw one black player looking over as if to say, "Are you freaking kidding me!"? What a stupid idea on her part.

Lady Gaga, who was never one of my bigger fans (for her off-the-wall angle on just about everything) sang it with so much respect at the Super Bowl a year ago, that for a many Americans, it got people a little choked up. Lady Gaga and Kentucky All-State Choir, "Best Ever". A piss-poor performance by any standard. I am truly tired of these celebrities whose egos are so huge they believe they can alter and mangle the classic material they are performing to give it a personalized spin. We only ask that the performer be moderately competent, it is the material we want to hear.

It's a tossup between Fergie and Roseanne. Although I must admit, Roseanne couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.
