The Armageddon Nancy Pelosi warned us about if tax reform passed is here. And like most Armageddons - this one is really bad.

Here are just a few of the apocalyptic consequences Americans are enduring thanks to lower taxes:

· 90% of Americans now have more money- or more "CRUMBS" as Nancy Pelosi likes to say-in every paycheck. Few horrors are as unimaginable as having more money to spend on things like groceries or birthday presents for your kids.

· Over 350 firms are giving tax cut bonuses to their employees. Does the GOP's cruelty know no bounds?

· Scores of companies are promising to expand their U.S. operations. Most notably, Apple is bringing back $350 billion of its overseas cash to the U.S. economy, announcing plans to build a new campus and to create more than 20,000 jobs. MORE JOBS?! The founders must be rolling in their graves.

It's easy and admittedly a lot of fun to mock the Left and their mainstream media allies for the absurd and dishonest things they have said and continue to say about tax reform.

It's easy because it's it's so patently false. Yep, it's bad. Really, really bad.

I think there's a larger agenda at work there than just the accumulation of raw power. I think about that stuff and it just boggles the mind. I can make no sense of it. Obviously, I don't have all the details or maybe some modicum of understanding would begin to dawn. I get the sense there are many things kept hidden, things that we as a people would likely strongly disapprove of. Why else would they be hiding it?

Well now, that pretty much depends. What does he have to use as 'leverage'? Obviously they'll make their play sometime, tell him to lay off - or else. I guess he'll either cave (doubtful) or punch back (probable). If he's 'got the goods' on the right people, they'll probably try and make some kind of deal whereby Trump gets an 'in'. That's when we'll find out just what kind of man is sitting in the Oval Office. Everything up to that moment has been bull and bluster. That's the moment of truth. Looks like we're going to find out, one way or the other.

After all we've been through, I don't know what I'll do if he turns out to be another dud. Somehow I get the feeling he actually means it. Only time will tell.
