Euthanasia drug found in popular canned dog food, and it's not an isolated event.
Read this link and boycott these products until these people stop putting poison in their dog food.

Thanks, Loki. As I buy the cat food and The Sgt. Major the dog food, I put her right on this. As it stands, nothing in the article pertains to her purchasing habits. But, as I told her, it is best to be aware. Again, thanks

Makes me think they are using some euthanized dogs in the food mix.

They have. Read the article. Gravy Train canned food seems to be the main culprit, but there is a list of foods from the same company. I will not buy any more until they get this straightened out.

I had some canned Gravy Train that I just chunked. Wish there was some way I could put it out so that no animal but those damn possums that keep pestering my chickens would eat it.

Have the same problem, those Raccoons are really tough too, probably wouldn't phase them a bit.

I just threw away a bag of treats made by that company, and forwarded this to everyone I know. Thanks for the info.

Pentobarbital is a barbiturate not a poison unless used in high doses, it used to be used to treat insomnia like any barbiturate it is a CNS depressant and in large doses can be fatal. That aside it has no business in pet food in any quantity. I find it interesting that many of the pet and livestock owners are legitimately appalled by the use of euthanized animals in pet food. Yet they cheer the ridiculous deregulation of company’s that allows this sort of thing to happen. The FDA is horribly short staffed they don’t have enough inspectors to adequately inspect facilities that produce food for humans much less animals. Companies who pursue practices like this should be put out of business and the people within these companies who cut corners in this manner charged with felonies. But you can bet your ass it won’t happen in the age of Trumps corporate kleptocracy. As you look at your pets and children and grandchildren remember that regulation and enforcement make sure that they have safe food to eat, are not ejected from cars in wrecks, and paint on their toys dosn’t contain lead.

An underregulated corporation is poisoning your dogs, how is that not political? I guess the market might fix it, but only after a lot of pets are killed.

Hey Kev, do you feel the same way about aborted babies that your side likes to murder even up to 9 months? Amazing how you leftists don't see the real truth when it smacks you in that ugly face of yours!
