Isaiah chapter 35

Verse 1 & 2

When the Jews first took over Israel, it was a desert wasteland. But the Jews know how to pull water out of the ground. Today Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. It blooms like a desert rose. It is the only country in the Middle East that exports grain. Israel is surrounded by Islamic countries that don’t want them there, but the Muslims have not and will never have success. They are not trying to achieve anything. They want to steal, kill, and destroy.

Verse 3 - 6

If we can look past our irrational fears, our lives would improve. We would develop a deeper insight and we would become unstoppable. Whatever we did would prosper.

Verse 7 & 8

Life would improve for us and those around us. We would no longer irritate anyone who had the misfortune of being in the same room with us. Things will not get better until we get better. We move in the direction of our focus. We reap what we sow. Actions have consequences. We can choose any action, but not the consequence. We are judged by the choices we make for the actions we take. We should make better choices. One day we will. If you steal, murder, and destroy, your speeches saying how wealth that you didn’t produce should be spent will be seen as nonsense.

Verse 9 & 10

One day, all of the children of Jacob shall return to the Middle East.
