Another Look at DACA Amnesty

There is no provision in the DACA Amnesty for funding the wall, ending chain migration, FINALLY instituting E Verify, ending the legal fiction of "anchor babies" or anything else other than unconditional amnesty for illegal aliens who should not have been given a temporary amnesty in the first place.
More than 75% of these "children" are over 21 years of age. For those who say they have productive jobs, if they don't have a green card, they have their jobs illegally. If they procured their employment with fake or stolen ID's, they are felons. If they have green cards they don't need amnesty. Here is a list of amnesties since 1986.....

TAKE A LOOK AT THE PREVIOUS 7 CHAIN-MIGRATION AMNESTIES

46 Senators stopped funding of the government Friday night because they didn't get an 8th amnesty that offers endless chains of extended family migration.

Chain Migration is the top issue here. The 46 Senators won't accept a DACA amnesty and won't vote to fund the government unless every immigrant gets to have Chain Migration of their relatives, and unless all those relatives get Chain Migration of their relatives, and so forth.

Did YOU know there have already been 7 Chain-Migration amnesties? Do your friends and family know?
HERE'S THE AD we just started running across America TO ALERT VOTERS TO THE ISSUE OF THE 7 AMNESTIES:

(Click the chalkboard to watch--30 seconds--and then come back.)

Most news media and politicians act like the only amnesty ever offered was in 1986.

In fact, Congress has tried over and over again to supposedly fix immigration problems by giving amnesties while continuing Chain Migration and the ability of employers to hire illegal foreign workers.

That is what those 46 Senators want to do again. When they didn't get their way, they used the filibuster to shut down the government.
PLEASE SHARE THESE VIDEOS that explain to the nation (30 seconds at a time) how Chain-Migration Amnesties work.

Here's the ad we've been running across the country since Christmas:

(Click on the chalkboard to watch and then come back.)

It is so important that every single Senator and U.S. Representative understands that the majority of Americans want them to oppose any DACA amnesty that continues Chain Migration.

A Pulse Opinion Research poll just before Christmas found that likely voters in this fall's mid-term elections favor ending Chain Migration by a 2-to-1 margin: https://www.numbersusa.com/blog/poll-most-voters-agree-trump-end-chain-migration-reduce-overall-immigration

Asked if any DACA amnesty should end Chain Migration and limit family migration to spouse and minor children, voters said YES -- again by 2-to-1.
HERE ARE THE 7 CHAIN-MIGRATION AMNESTIES THAT CONGRESS HAS ALREADY PASSED

You can read about all of these in detail at:

https://www.numbersusa.com/content/learn/illegal-immigration/seven-amnesties-passed-congress.html

1. Immigration and Reform Control Act (IRCA), 1986: A blanket amnesty for some 2.7 million illegal aliens

2. Section 245(i) Amnesty, 1994: A temporary rolling amnesty for 578,000 illegal aliens

3. Section 245(i) Extension Amnesty, 1997: An extension of the rolling amnesty created in 1994

4. Nicaraguan Adjustment and Central American Relief Act (NACARA) Amnesty, 1997: An amnesty for close to one million illegal aliens from Central America

5. Haitian Refugee Immigration Fairness Act Amnesty (HRIFA), 1998: An amnesty for 125,000 illegal aliens from Haiti

6. Late Amnesty, 2000: An amnesty for some illegal aliens who claim they should have been amnestied under the 1986 IRCA amnesty, an estimated 400,000 illegal aliens

7. LIFE Act Amnesty, 2000: A reinstatement of the rolling Section 245(i) amnesty, an estimated 900,000 illegal aliens.

Enough! Both Democrats and Republicans have kicked the can down the road all that is allowed. Now Liberal Hobbit Dancers are bashing the president because he is the first executive of either party since the 1950's to address this problem instead of passing the buck.

It isn't just a Democrat or Republican thing. The Bush dynasty has been as bad as the Democrats about this problem. The Reagan amnesty was supposed to be a one-time deal with a quid pro quo. There was no quid pro quo, none of the border security and immigration reforms ever happened and it was only a one time thing until the next time. Trump is literally the first president of either party since the 1950's to actually address this problem instead of ignoring it and leaving it for his successor.

The whole idea of repeatedly granting amnesty to more and more illegals is ridiculously stupid. Apparently, the left won't be happy until the USA is just another shithole country, full of the dregs of society from all over the world.

Brings to mind the old saw, "Birds of a feather, flock together." Stupid Democrats, and the dregs of society from the shithole countries.

I'm not sure which group gets there morals from which group. Do the democrats get their morals from the illegal immigrants or do the illegal immigrants get their morals from the democrats.

Great post. If the issue for our elected officials is one where those illegal aliens shielded from deportation by the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) are allowed to remain in this country under a work permit, and not be automatically deported, then President Trumps proposal on this issue should be an easy fix. But that is not the issue here.

I think most Americans could support a DACA fix that would do the following:
1) allow the aliens who qualify under DACA to obtain work permits for 3 years, with another 3 year renewable period provided they have not committed any felonies and apply for US Citizenship
2) Congress will appropriate the funding to complete the border wall
3) End chain migration
4) Mandate E-Verify to bar employers from hiring illegal aliens over American workers
5) End the 50,000 visas through the Diversity Visa Lottery and move them into other visa categories that benefit the American economy

Spot on! The Democrats objective of getting more votes is patently obvious to all but the willfully blind! Whether the illegal immigrants come from a sh*thole country or any other turd world country makes no difference to the Dems. They are willing to bring them in knowing that they'll vote Democrat.

You're wrong on the first part of this essay, Loki. DACA recipients must be either in school, the military or gainfully employed to retain DACA status, and it costs them $425 every 6 months to retain their status.

That's not how I read the information posted on the website of Homeland Security. https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/consideration-deferred-action-childhood-arrivals-daca

Anyone requesting DACA must have been under the age of 31 as of June 15, 2012, and as of the date of the filing for the request:
-Have resided continuously in the U.S. since June 15, 2007;
-Had come to the United States before your 16th birthday
-Were physically present in the United States; and
-Are in school, have graduated from high school in the United States, or have a GED; or
-Are an honorably discharged veteran of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States

So, I don't see where they need to be gainfully employed, or currently in school. I also could not find where they need to renew their status every 6 months at a cost of $425, so perhaps you can enlighten us on these two points.

You are partly correct. Some of the roughly 900 (out of nearly 900,000) DACA recipients are in the military legally, however, US law states that a non-citizen who doesn't possess a green card cannot serve in the US military. Most of these people have language skills the military deems important. Bear in mind that the vast number of DACA recipients are Hispanic, and many of those in the military are not, but are instead of nationalities who speak languages for which we need interpreters.

For a non-citizen to serve legally in the US Armed Forces you need to have a green card. If you have one you have no need of amnesty. I was not referring to DACA people who are legally serving in the military, but those who may have enlisted with fake ID's. There are barely 900 DACA recipients of all nationalities in the military out of an estimated 900,000 plus the 3 1/2 million "Dreamers".
