You lie about finding so many in the trash. People don't pay good money for new books (and I'm sure they are costly)and throw them in the trash. Rather than taking a total loss, they would attempt to resell them to whomever they can.

I prefer to do that at a movie theater so I can watch the reaction. I make sure that the ticket seller is told to tell the person that someone else paid for the ticket but not point out the payer. It is funny to watch. I know of a couple who at Christmas time watch the line of people doing lay away and finds someone who is buying useful kids gifts and looks like they are really poor. When the people have paid some small amount this couple pays the rest of the bill. It is a small town so on occassion the clerk will tell our friends what the reaction was two weeks later when the couple comes back to pay for the gifts and are told they have been paid for by Santa the reaction is heart warming.

Shoppers hoping to buy Michael Wolff"s new Fire and Fury book on the Trump White House have accidentally been buying a book by a World War II historian that now finds itself on some of Amazon"s bestseller lists, the Guardian reported.

The book by University of Toronto professor Randall Hanson, titled Fire and Fury: The Allied Bombing of Germany, 1942-1945, was published nearly 10 years ago, but Hanson noticed an uptick of sales activity late last week.

"It amused me," Hanson said. "Part of me thought: can people really be that dumb to be confusing these books?"
