"He ignores 'human rights' when he tells his supporters to hurt or harm someone for having a different view point than his (think peaceful protesters here)" I guess that's why his supporters have smashed, burned, pulled people down and beaten them, made videos of a victim being tortured and head dunked into a toilet, blocked traffic... Uh oh. Got the wrong supporters.

WHAT states have most of the citizens not being able to read passed (not past) a 3rd grade level? How bigoted!

I've wasted enough time. Turn off the TV. Read our constitution. Read legislation and bills on the congressional pages. Read historical documents and writings of our founders.

I too live in a small town. Over the past several years the “mood” has slowly dimmed....a defeatist attitude seemed to pervade most small talk.

At the coffee shop, the guy who builds barns (and an occasional house), came in on Monday mornings. He used to fill his thermos and head off to some job, but, over the past few years, he’s stayed for several hours before heading back home.

The grocery store on the square closed three years ago. People got jobs further from here and buy groceries in a bigger town. The folks who got laid off, from various small businesses, moved away. So many are gone; the district closed the grade school and our kids ride the bus fifty minutes one way.

One could site many, many examples of the decline of the attitudes in our community.

Then, we voted in the last presidential election. Nobody dreamed that anything would happen, but, at least we could talk about “trying”.

Since President Trump, the change in attitude is palpable! Optimism is evident; people smiling; eager to talk about positive future plans. A young guy, from right here in town, hired the carpenter and they are remodeling the old grocery store to make it into an archery and gun store. Their business model includes some shrewd online marketing which should draw a regional market.

Yep, we’re pretty happy with the way things are improving....and pray for our president’s continued health and success!

"So there are zero indictments against the Trump campaign or the Trump administration." = FALSE...papadopoulous was part of Trump's administration and he has been indicted. Manafort and Gates both were part of Trump's administration and they both have been indicted as well. You are nit-picking regarding their relationship to Trump because you overlook that Mueller has the authority to investigate ANY and ALL matters of criminal activity "related" to the Trump campaign....that covers literally anyone, everyone, and everything that has to do with Trump becoming president......that includes Trump's financial dealings too. BTW - were you outraged that republicans spent 3 years and 20 million dollars investigating the Clinton's for Whitewater real estate deals.....and filed no charges? How about the 4 years and 50 million spent investigating Monica Lewinsky....or the 8 years and untold millions investigating Benghazi....all to no avail. Mueller has spent around 4 million in 9 months and already has charged 4 suspects. Why would anyone expect such a deep entangled web of deceit to be unraveled in less time than it took to do any of the other investigations -especially considering how Trump and republicans have slow balled, distracted and deflected from the beginning? I know you are smarter than what you're letting out in public....come on now, you are better than this!

You must be pretending to be so dense. That Manafort worked with Tony Podesta and the Podesta Group, as well as Gates and Mercury in a money laundering scheme and as a foreign agent illegally years before Trump ran for office; is NOT evidence of Trump collusion with Russia. Try again! That Mueller can investigate "all" matters does not mean all matters he investigates are evidence of Trump Russia collusion. Flynn lied to special counsel. He was not indicted for any actions other than lying as what he did up to the point when he lied was not only not illegal and not collusion; it was his job as his role in the transition team. Papadopoulos was indicted for lying to FBI. He made several false statements. Yet it is the lying, not his actions or meetings which he was indicted for. Why? Because those meetings were not illegal and NOT collusion. But reading Papadopoulos' statements to the FBI; he comes off as a bragging idiot! He seems to have tried very hard to get Trump to meet with the Russians but was brushed off. He seems to have a very exaggerated sense of his own importance.

I am not outraged about this investigation nor any previous investigations of presidents or high government officials. I am outraged when for the same actions some are ignored while others targeted. So instead of wanting Mueller's investigation to be narrowed; I would like it to follow trails even if they lead to people outside the Trump administration. Such as not just going after Manafort, but also going after ALL his co-conspirators including those with ties to top Democrats.

The Benghazi investigation is something that I felt, and still feel outrage over. Reading the transcripts reveals not exoneration but instead that some are 'too big to prosecute'.

I do not expect the investigation to be over. I do expect it to be run as unbiased as possible. And I do expect that when evidence leads to someone, whether Republican or Democrat; it is pursued.

Here you go, something you guys are ardently familiar with: If I don't see it in the news then it didn't happen....just fake news! If you think that returning to the outward blatant racism of the early 1800's is MAGA...then you are also an idiot....that's not going to happen buddy....not in your miserable life time, nor in mine.period. -Whitewater was a lie perpetrated by disgruntled lawyers who did not make huge profits from the Clintons sale of real estate - TRUE
-Benghazi was the fault of republican leadership who refused Hillary's THREE requests for more security at the embassy - TRUE
-Uranium One is a republican hoax to discredit Hillary because there were 9 agencies required to approve the sale of 20% of our uranium....all 9 agreed it was a good deal - TRUE
-Hillary could not collude with Russia even if she wanted to because Putin hates her to death - TRUE
-Your republican leaders wanted to dismantle the ACA -but insisted on keeping the ACA to cover them and their families - TRUE
-White 'nationalism' is a covert term for white racism - TRUE
-Trump and much of the republican leadership is guilty of treasonous acts with Russia - TRUE
-Your president is ugly - TRUE
I can go on with this all day -how about you?

I live in Southern New Mexico in a small town. Our downtown is two blocks long. Every third Friday we have an Art Walk in that area. Over the few years we have had this event, it has steadily evolved. For a while, it was sparsely attended and of a somewhat limited venue. It was originally designed for local artisans to show their wares. But in the past six months it has become much more. And with a far greater attendance. Yet a word here on the population.

This region is ethnically and racially diverse with a long history of cooperative community. All groups seem to openly blend and work together. Of course there are problems but the various cultures here have shown harmony over many decades. On these Friday nights, we now have cultural singers and dancers perform, letting all there participate. A fun addition is the growing participation of cosplay people, even the kids get dressed up. The customs lend this extra element of festiveness. Watching the carefree and happy mingling of parents and children of these various backgrounds and traditions is extremely heartwarming. It is a joy to be there. Then there is the dark cloud of Trump with his racism and xenophobia, his White separatism, steadily moving in this direction to asphyxiate the smiles and laughter and togetherness. Making rifts. Turning people against each other. Ending the joy.

I may be wrong but that is what I see and it seems very real. To be there with these people would make you just as protective and concerned. You would do anything to keep any harm from happening. And that is the bottom line on why I post as much true raw sewerage on Trump on this site. The thought of seeing even those smiles dimmed a bit or their ease stymied a moment is heart-wrenching. I see Trump as a Grinch who loves causing disruption and trouble just because he can. His mindless crusade to make America splinter into warring factions for the sake of some Nationalistic nightmare to end cultural diversity for a dream of dystopian America First White hegemony is hateful.
