At that time you will have to sit or lie on the floor with your doggie buddy and snuggle, Our two Cane Corsos weigh around 145 each and snuggling with them is easy. Just sit in the recliner and the dog puts his head on my lap and quickly puts a paw next to me on the chair. That is the best they are going to do, no sitting on the furniture for the dogs. The Welsh terrier usually lies between the two Corsos and snuggles with them. Of course after two minutes of that he jumps on one or the other and demand play time. Tank will slowly stand with Chaos (the Welsh) on his back. Some day one or the other Corso will stop tolerating the dominant behavior of the Welsh but they will have to sort it out. In the mean time we can snuggle all 3 as much as we want, but when it is meal time, snuggling is no longer important, FOOD is king.

My Golden Retriever grumbles at me whenever I try to snuggle with him. He's a tough macho wuss, but he does love me.
