I tried to watch, but Friday I had to put Katie my 11 year old Irish Wolfhound to sleep. It's just too much right now, maybe later

That is always a difficult decision. Eleven year old Wolfhound is a very old dog. You were lucky that you had her that long. It is a great breed.

It was sudden, I'd been babying her for the last few years, she had a heart attack, could barely move, wouldn't eat. It was heart breaking. Yes, I was very lucky to have her, my Katie was so sweet, truly a gentle giant

They are part of your family and a major part of our lives. Was she your first wolfhound or have you had the breed before?

I have had 2 before Katie. Lottie and Luther. I found them abandoned on the road, Lotte died at 8, Luther lived to be 10. They are my favorite breed, they are sweet, sensitive and loving, and they are goofy and playful.
