Here's a lesson on how the media can move markets:
"Brian Ross‘ report that Flynn is expected to testify [that] Trump directed him to meet with Russians “as a candidate” was followed minutes later by a drop in the stock market." The inference being that he actually did 'collude' with the Kremlin to get himself elected. Oh, my, now that was a big deal! That was the smoking gun that just about every elected official in Washington was praying for! This was their salvation!
Several hours later: "But as Ross clarified on World News Tonight, it was as President-elect, not as a candidate, and that is kind of a major difference". Ya think! I can just imagine the impeachment machine firing up, phones ringing off the hook, lawyers being woken in the middle of the night, all of the above. Oh, the relief! And then... Aw, shit. Go back to your bunkers, guys.
