What Was Christ Doing In Hell?

Jesus announced His triumph when He was gone into satans lair and offered salvation to men and women, even to the sons of God, which came down from heaven and mixed with the daughters of men and bared children, Gen 6:2 and 4. The same children became mighty men, which were of old, men of renown. 1 Peter 3:19-20 says they were sometimes disobedient so most of these perished in the flood when Noah was 40 days on the ark.

God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness to be reserved unto judgement. So Jesus, all knowing saw their hearts and had mercy of some of them. Even though they had not kept their first estate, their own principality, but left their own habitation. Jude :6

Another reference that Christ is a heart knower is in 2 Cor. 5:2 "for in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven". This Word house is the same as habitation in Jude:6. Christ has the keys as stated in Revelation 1:18 "I am He that liveth, and was dead; and behold I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death, Eph. 4:8-10

My thoughts, when He died, and for three days, He went down to where Satan had his lair, Christ took the keys from him and maybe even dragged him around by his hair in Tartaros while the demons watched, so now when you mention Christ the demons tremble, James 2:19. Amen and Amen.

Alleluia, to God be the Glory. We're living in the end times, many of the prophets wanted to live in these end times, the first shall be last, and the last shall be first. Amen.

It should be scary for the atheist and the offspring of the devil but take comfort in some of these verses. "Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that His fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not". Another Quote, "Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD", It is better to be born twice and die once than to be born once and die twice. Jude :12 "twice dead". The Bible has many truths and we can always find more, it's not easy but He likes it when we study His Word.

Jude:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: v23) And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. There are some that don't want to "go with the flow" of Christ, and sometimes I'll give them hard verses, but it seems that they don't want to be receptive and just argue back on the Bible quotes.
