You might have, if you had smarts, asked why I said he was an idiot. But of course you are Christian. That wouldn't make sense to a Christian, any more than asking directions makes sense for a man.

Here are the words of a smart Christian:

"VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- Following reports that U.S. President Donald Trump planned to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, Pope Francis expressed his concern that such a move would further destabilize the Middle East.

Pope Francis said he could not "keep silent about my deep concern" for Jerusalem and urged respect for "the status quo of the city in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations."

But I'm sure you evangelicals, under the influence of Douglas Feith and others, will just call Pope Francis the anti-Christ, and that will solve the whole problem in your minds. If one can call them minds.

Why is the world would Protestants pay any attention to a Roman Pope?

Pope Francis has hardly demonstrated any perspicacity in realpolitik, or climate change and his waffling on matters of doctrine tend to make Catholics put him on the "pay no mind" list. While I wouldn't call him anti-Christ, his liberation theology exposure puts him on the Socialist side of the balance.

Not another one!!! Another evangelical tempered in the fire of Douglas Feith, Bremer, etc. etc. etc. See you at the International Criminal Court. You may join, or just sit with the defendants---neo-conservatives mostly, but others as well.

He may be slightly Marxist, but anyone can change. He is definitely showing perspicacity in this "matter". And an important "matter" it is, too.

I believe he listens, at times, to "Me".

I certainly do agree with this post. I have wondered if Pope Francis might have become a socialist (far left, anyway) while serving in a Third World nation .

The main problem for me is that Kira seems to get too much info from RT. Russian Times has always been a major propaganda source for Russian, anti-American news for me and are getting worse all the time. Those who take much from that source scare me.

Where do you get your "truth"?

From dead prophets and dead prophecy? I suppose the sun really stopped for Joshua, too. Even though Galileo proved the earth revolved around the sun, and that the sun only stopped for the "simple" people, so they would not lose their faith in the salvation of a dead god.
